FYI Cambelt is every 5 years/72k and Aux I think is 3/36k, either way it sounds like you'll need both to be honest, wouldn't want to risk driving around in a ticking timebomb! (Not much help I know)
Also on 205/45/16's never had scrubbing with my Sportlines on the 182 Standard wheels or the current Turinis, looks like something is wrong with the wheel being so far forward!
I believe decat's make it much worse!
You could try and get it mapped out but I think they still appear, hopefully someone with a 197 or knowledge will be along shortly
Cambelt should already be done, it's 72k OR 5 years, so it should have been done 2010 ish - if not budget ~£500 from a specialist (don't take it to someone who hasn't done one before).
Half leather will mean it's definitely not a cup (cloth seats), but it could be cup-packed!
Cup Pack 1 =...
Eibach Prolines if you don't want to go any lower, though I'd still go with Eibach Sportlines for a small drop - makes it sit much better in the arches!
Believe they're also cheaper than Renault too :)
^ That's the main thing, at least you know it's in a decent state now rather than getting rid and potentially buying a car that's worse!
As Don said it will last you a hell of a long time now!
The engines are rough at startup yeah, usually fine after - an RSTuner remap/proper remap will sort that out though.
I have a non-cup/cupped pack and I found the handling to be perfectly fine - I've now uprated the springs to Eibach Sportlines - and while stiffer, I think the handling was...
I'd get the Megane engine personally, you're kinda guaranteed less problems due to it being turbo'd at factory (internals can definitely take it etc) - plus then it's more about getting a map/bigger turbo then and maybe you'll see better gains?
None of my post is factual though as I've no idea...
Hmm ok!
Well I'll get some pics up ~6 ish and then we can determine if it's normal, I wouldn't have said so though as when I was quickly looking I only saw it on one disc (unless the other one was behind the caliper at that moment).
Hey,
I had my discs fitted at Fred's just over a year ago, and I've noticed a few days ago the drivers front disc has a 5-10p pence size of the surface just completely disappeared, it goes back ~2-3mm - is this a defect?
Also, what sort of warranty do the Brembo discs cover?
I'll get some...
ET is offset from the hub, so higher offset is further away from the hub, aka further out and fills the arch more (unless it's the other way around where lower offset = further out I don't know).
