not nesesarrily.. if there was anitskid stuff on the road then both car would technically be exactly the same as the grip levels would be high enough. but where abs comes in to its own is poor conditions.. heavy rain etc..

Actually, If its on your car then it must work, but if you remove it then it will still pass, its crazy eh ! same goes with fog light etc.. if they are on the car and they dont work it will fail.. if you take them out completly and take it back it will pass.. what a crock of sh*t an MOT is..

as stated before I have raced two VTSs now, they had nothing on me.. both races were traffic light stuff with my crap contis on.. I am still waiting to race another one now that I have on my toyo proxes. I have passed up races with other vtss cause I dont even consider them worthy now...

They had them at the Renault Dealers in Edinburgh, in a glass case, I was very tempted to buy a mk2 silver 172 as that is which one was on display. I might just get it next time im in the dealer .. which is this coming monday :)

its at the bottom right of your instrument panel and looks like a green gearstick.. should come on about 6750rpm or there abouts. someone took a pic of it in action.. do a search on it and you will probably find the thread.

as far as I was aware the theory behind the extra mpg is that you dont have to put you foot on the throttle quite as much to maintain a certain speed hence using less pertrol hence more mpg.
