IIRC, the offset for the Clio is ET35, an offset of 38 would bring the wheel further into middle of the car, a lower number would move the wheel further out. hope that helps ps. 38 should be fine

there is a wire which is fed through the cone, it is normally glued to the paper cone, I suppose you could check to make sure that it isnt loose, and that the cone is free to move properly, that there isnt anything sitting on the cone etc. all which could cause a noise.

take pictures of the repair and let the buyer see them when he comes to buy, you may have to knock a little off but at least you can say it was professionally repaired.

mine is set to +6 :o dont have any problems, I was going to be a smartarse and post that speakers are meant to vibrate otherwise you wouldnt hear anything. But instead I will say you may have blown the cone from playing it too loud before, now when you try to put even a little bass through...

How can ABS be a bad thing, other than if you wanted to turn it off for a bit of fun on a track ? Its one of thee biggest advances in motoring safety IMHO

Roamer do you have any other pics of it from further away, I was planning on putting a touch screen into that bit but wanted to find an easy way to fit it.

6x9s are IMHO very tacky. I prefer the clean look, nothing to say that there is anything different about my car from standard, apart from the HU, and if they open the boot. Standard size, high quality speakers are what I like.

so what needs to be done to fix an Import with a crap reception ? does anyone know where on a mk2 172 this antena is or is it a Warranty/Dealer job ?

maybe they lightened up the clutch on the 172 mk2 ? just a thought, but I could in no way describe my clutch as heavy.
