Can you not use another mate's Vista CD and then use your serial code?
I'd recommend just copying your documents and doing a fresh windows install by whatever means. Install all the drivers, programs, etc that you will want. Then use Nortan Ghost to make a back up of the harddrive and save to...
I've just realise how much I miss having a girl who stands up for herself in my life lol
If they're talking to you like a kid and quite clearly taking the piss, then I don't see a problem in kicking a fuss. As long as you keep to facts and aren't rude. They were probably just expecting you to...
Cheers Tigger. Will have to wait a couple of months for exams and then I'll crack out the polish. See how bad it is, if they're still really bad then consider what a professional clean say.
£200 seems very decent for all that.
I've got one of these. Very happy with it, miles better than the chamois I was using before. Normally pretty good for doing the whole car apart from the roof. Normally, squeeze dry and then the roof.
About £550 budget for everything: camera, lenses, memory cards, spare battery, case.
If I like the D60 in the shop, I will get that so that'll be £350ish spent. The included 18-55mm lens will be sufficient for most, so will just want a tele lens. Looking at Sigma and Tamron 55-200mm or...
Thought about it but its a step up, camera wise and price wise. I've only recently 100% decided on a DSLR as my Dad and I are going halves. I want to learn to take good photos before spending bigger money and my dad wants one as a bit of fun after his film SLR of a while back. So the D60 seemed...
Memory cards: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/SDHC
I've been very happy with the service and the cards I've wanted have been cheaper here. Not sure if everything cheaper than everywhere.
Would only be doing the chips myself or chips away or whatever they're called.
Bumper scuff will be taken to a body shop. Just don't want it coming back looking noticeably different. Rather live with the couple of scuffs as they're only noticeable when shiny clean.
Its an old point and shoot, Canon A80. 5years old now. Was decent at the time and allowed a lot of manual control.
Am wondering if a 55-200mm (82.5-300mm 35mm equivalent) lens will be ok or stump up extra for 70-300mm (105-450 equivalent). No idea what to chose.
Oh right. There are some swirls on it, I never notice them unless I'm looking for them but want to get it professionally detailed so they should hopefully be gone after that.
Just need to sort scuffs, chips out first.
Is it a difficult colour for body shops to match?
Need a couple of scuffs sorted on the front bumper from when I bought it, but don't want the whole bumper looking slightly different.
Also, are the halfords touch up pens any good on the colour match for the small paint chips/touch ups?
Thanks.
Thanks guys. The camera is for my Dad and I, he said he prefers using the viewfinder and he's used to it from his old SLR and since my main importance is getting good photos at Silverstone, it sounds like I should be using the viewfinder too.
I did see on the 1000d that you can zoom into the...
Cool, good to know.
Sort of like using your head as an extra balancer in keeping the camera still?
If it only works in manual focus then it'll be completely useless for me with a tele lens. And without a tele lens, I'd rather use the view finder.
I'll be wanting to do motorsport photography with it so is Live View much prefered for this?? Better for composition?
I was thinking D60 but it does not have Live View like the Canon 1000D.
I could have sworn you said no, never when I said do it at the last Shires meet.
Good to see you're coming the ph2 looks side. Think you'll have best of both worlds then.
Sorry that's what I meant in my first reply, if it was cropped or downsized. Cleared up now though.
The quality looks so good in both, the D90 pic is amazingly clear even down to the porsche badge on the wheels. The 6MP is very impressive too. To get quality as least as good as that will make...
Ah I see, so they were taken in that size. The quality looks excellent. I'm thinking of a D40 as I was originally looking to spend no more than £300 inc accessories, hence looking at bridge cameras before.
I really want to get a lot of pictures at Silverstone this year and want good quality...
Handy to see those from the same area of the track. Cheers. So are they all the original pictures in smaller size and not crops?
Mighty impressive skills. Think I'd rather spend money on good camera kit and get into photography now instead of modding my engine lol How long you been doing this...
I need a bit of help with tele lens values please guys.
ATM I have a 35mm equivalent of 114mm. So would zooming 2x into the picture on my PC show what I could achieve if I had 228mm lense? I'm considering what size lense I would need for Silverstone this year if I get a DSLR.
This is 100%...
