Looks much better now, best its been. Could do with being a little higher, I know they're new mounts but still. Try Jamesstone's DIY mount fix/improvement in the guides section, I did it and it helped a lot. I think I'm going to go with one of his new mount designs from JMS tuning though.
Loving that, except for the exhaust. Haven't seen one that wide before! The white wheels really suit it.
I'd normally say time for a ph2 rear bumper but the original looks ok in sunflower. Ph2 lights would freshen it up though.
You must be the only person to have had 2 sunflower yellows...
I didn't know he had to report it too. I thought they'd contact his insurance company who would in turn contact him.
Keep a note of all costs and receipts if poss of the inconvenience he's causing you and make sure you claim for that amount, through your insurance company's solicitors if...
Oh nooos. Sorry to hear this Gem! But at least you've got your priorites right.
Just stay positive about getting another! You know its the right choice. There might be another Monaco available in a couple of years ;)
Judge it by your first couple of runs imo.
I found it very slippery because of the whatever (I think its water but didn't look like it) they put near the startline, the more serious guys were doing burnouts on them, so I assume it helps with heat. My mates and I just avoided it on road tyres...
lol I'm in the south, opposite side of london to essex.
This place just seems to beat anyone hands down, normally have to wait an hour at least if you're lucky, even if you get there at 8:30. A tenner each more isn't too bad though.
My last accident, the woman decided to blame me for her pulling out infront of me. Made 2 stories which I could quickly prove wrong with photographic evidence too and her insurance company finally backed down when the police report came through. Took 7 months for the police report even though at...
I went to Santa Pod recently, best was 15.2 @ 90.24mph.
Had to control the wheelspin at even low rev starts due to whatever thing they'd put on the start section, never get wheelspin when I floor it on a normal road though so a bit disappointed. Was a cold-ish day so maybe that's why it...
GET ONE WITHOUT imo.
If you're an enthusiastic driver, then you only need your right foot to control the power, not TC. I thought it'd be better to get it with so I could switch it off when I wanted. I now switch it off as soon as I've turned the car on. Plus on the 172 its ESP as well as TC...
Better be, I'll need to declare brakes in a month and springs soon hopefully.
When I changed my car mid-term on my elephant policy, I managed to not pay the admin fee. Fook £15 for 1 minutes work. I was paying them enough extra just for the insurance increase.
I've just got insurance through them and they told me on a number of occasions from different people I spoke to, non-power mods are free and no fees for declaring. Just call up and tell them, they'll log it, maybe they'll send an email as don't think they'll send confirmation via post.
I was...
Did nobody hear about the guy on the VW forum. Posted a video racing his Edition 30 against an RS4 or RS6 on an empty DC. Someone told the police, the police did the same stretch and worked out how far he'd driven and the time by the video and got 15month ban for speeding over 100mph average and...
I got this this week http://www.ebuyer.com/product/158887
Seemed good value to me and HP are suppose to be very good. Moving from a white laptop that everybody loved (got it before the ipod white fever), I was worried about the HP's looks from the site. The inside if the lid is a nice gloss...
Looks weird, would have hoped for a better looking button and button section.
I can't understand the reason needing it. Yes its nice as it lets the hot air escape better in the summer and can have it vent open on the motorway but I can't see the point if you have AC. Just another thing to go...
I really like the Monaco, so probably Mondial or of course LY as its a truely awesome colour. Not sure if it'd look right as LY is a lairy colour so suits the V6 well.
Non RS colour would be Murcielago Green or Orange.
I like the idea of it, its similar to the M-Sport BMWs, but on those the bumper seems to stick out more, the "spoiler" or whatever its called is normally a bit inside. Its a bit odd as it looks like its sticking out at a bit on an angle.
I think I'm going towards D60. Rather that over the D40 due to extra MP for blowing images up and inclusion of the VR lens. As said above, D40/60 are more comparable to the 1000D, 450D is a level up IMO especially price wise. Its more than I'm willing to spend so D60 wins out of D40/60/1000D for...
I haven't told them but I didn't know which particular exhaust it was until recently until Jamesstone confirmed it was a KTEC Stealth mk2.
I know it would have put my insurance up by £40 with elephant. New insurance with adrain flux that I'm soon to take out said no problems to it and nothing...
My first two clios were completely standard. No point in modding a 1.4 TBH. My 172 has a KTEC stealth which was fitted by last owner. Just Ferodo pads to be fitted and a set of springs and that'll probably be it for this year.
Unsure if to mod towards a track toy, or just buy an...
