sunroof problem help!!

my mk2 phs1 elecrtic sunroof opens normal but when i got to close it, it slides normal but doesnt shut down... has any1 got any ideas please thankssss..

I found mine had a mind of its own. No problems for ages, then one day decided not to close. Cover it up for a couple week as I was at uni. Came home and shut it one day and it close no problems. So maybe time is a healer?

ive shut it now but its not opening haha god knows whats up with it
