Depends when they take the money, normally its a week or two after isn't it?
You might be able to ask for them to take it on a specific date, I'm sure I was given the option.
Otherwise, don't renew straight away. Go for a little while without driving and reinsure when you want to pay it? Or...
I'm quite happy with how my goodyear eagle f1s are wearing in.
Not had a chance to really hammer it through the twisties with the current crap weather though, but they seem to be shaping up ok.
£60 each not bad, will see in a couple of months time if I should have forked out an extra £20...
I think orange do branded promos. Not sure exactly how orange operate their own phones (guessing its bought from orange) but when working at CPW, all of our phones were unbranded but sometimes we'd have special offer orange branded phones, which were norm a bit cheaper.
I know nokias can be...
My guess is tyres and extra power, as some have already said.
Wider tyres = more of weight spread out so less pressure on the ground through those four tyres compared to thinner tyres. And being a light weight car doesn't help. Hence why its easier to aquaplane and slide on snow.
Recent...
Won't really make much difference tbh, they'd charge you a pro rata amount for the remaining time on the policy so if you change it the next day, you'd maybe save a quid or two, but be careful they don't charge you a policy change fee. Mine was £15ish but I got them to knock it off.
Trick with...
Bottle of water came in very handy today, glad I hadn't drunk it all lol
Came out a bit late to see everyone standing scraping the windscreens with the heaters on and I poured on some water (I always use cold or room temp) and drove off while they were still scraping lol I'm too lazy too scrape.
Just do a quote on any online insurance, change the date so you'd be 18 etc and see how much they say. Obvs its not valid but at least you'd get an idea of the price. Then add a bit more onto it to take into account general insurance inflation etc.
Never had problems in my previous cars during bad weather, but having just got my 172 I'm not taking any chances, esp as the cars windows were frosted up when I got out of work.
Extra room to the car infront at all times, no hard acceleration, taking every corner gingerly and generally being...
We had this on our Sky+, turned it off and on from mains but still on standby, so left it off for 5mins, then switched it back on and it worked.
Kept happening so we got a new box from sky under warranty, only the dimwits used an amstrad (or similar) reconditioned box and somehow ruined our...
Cancel and re-subscribe? Not sure if we did this, but somehow we got a new box and dish installed for whatever the new customer rate was at the time - although this may have been when we changed from sky to sky+, but still got a new dish. Worth a google though.
Or alternatively, run an extra...
*sits waiting patiently till xmas 2009, rock back and forth, twitching*
Probably be delayed tho tbh :(
Even thinking of turning GT4 on to play the 'Ring, not sure how it will look on the bigger TV though.
Yes it will work but you'll need the data bolt on to not get stupid internet charges. £7.50/month for around 200MB fair usage policy, its plenty for most people though.
I've tried it in my mates iphone but didn't try an update, so not sure how it will handle that. Just set it up on the...
Enough for me to stay away tbh.
CPW are undoubtly the best IMO for cash/chequeback. I've never had a problem *touch wood* lol My dad had an issue of a delayed payment but it came through a couple of months after an admin error of some kind got sorted.
e2save.com are good but a bit picky...
I agree with running the rears off the HU. I hate having too much sound from them too, my last car only had fronts and a Sub, sounded great. So I have most of my music faded to the front.
IMO, rears via HU, 2 x 100W to fronts, bridge the remaining 2 channels to a sub.
This is what I was thinking when I got the car, but totally forgot to tell them. Think I shall do this tomorrow, time permitting.
Sorry for the 'jackage, hopefully should help you too.
Do you think they'd notice the noise difference or see a marking on it to suggest its not Renault?
I've got to declare mine still but need to find out which one it is first, as it car came with it.
IIRC its to do with a chip inside the key.
So its not switched off with the blipper button, but something like when its close to the ignition, it deactivates the immobiliser.
No! I hate seeing a RS down, but even worse if its a Monaco.
First things first, glad your Mum is ok. Could have ended much worse if had rolled or hit something hard.
Normally there are bumpers going in the for sale section or ebay like the Dr spotted out. Plates not expensive. Then just get...
I think the connections are standard ISO except for stalk controls and display.
I've just fitted my Sony HU from my old clio and I only needed the adapter that came with the HU. Sound quality has transformed dramatically!
SE W810i for me.
It never went wrong, dropped it a fair bit when drunk and it hasn't got a single mark on it, could do everything (not always the best, but good enough) and excellent walkman. Perfect as I used to commute in London.
Gave up on having the latest phone after this, nothing...
