Mate the ones that do multiple quotes are not always accurate. I saved over £300 on one of their recommendations by buying from the insurer's site direct.
Try elephant.co.uk (they have quote me best 2yrs in a row by a lot), bell, admiral (all under the same company), rac, tesco value is...
 Quicker to 100? Guessing its the low weight that helps? I'm getting a bit too tempted by the 172 now lol would love to give my uncle a run for his money in his R32. Although a mk5 will have it easier?
Really want the golf cos I think it would look better lower and BBS'd up than a ph1 or...
Aren't R32s 6.2 to 60 and damn quick 30-50, 50-70 etc? The 4WD is awesome too.
What are they like on lowered springs and dampers tho? Very interested cos I was looking at getting a Turbo but too many threads lately slagging them off :dapprove: lol
Well, its bit of an odden. If DVLA have NO record of it at all and you can never be found out then wouldn't tell them. To be absolutely safe, just be honest with the new company and tell them you can't remem the exact day. They might say just put the 1st of the month for each or to forget them...
If you're doing online quotes, do one quote with the points and do one without.
Doing that, my quotes were about 5-10% higher with 3 points, but I'm only 21 at. Generally, when you're experience, as said above, 3 points wont make any difference as a lot of people have them now.
I had the same problem, can't remember how I sorted it though.
I must have tried installing it 20 times before it worked. I think I may have updated Java first. When I remember, I'll post it up.
Yeah like said above it is possible to recover files with software, they may not all wok though.
Failing that, find a small computer services company to do it for you, it will cost you but if you really want your files back, then it might be worth it.
With regards to anti-virus, the free AVG...
^^ Yep should be on the current insurance paperwork.
If you're just renewing your policy, they will have the details on file. Mine told me that my dad's points and an old accident are no longer declared on renewal policy as they are out of the date they need to know for.
I thought about making a sub enclosure like that but I didn't like the sound when the sub was facing the side of the car. I played about for ages and found it sounded best sitting on the right of the boot facing the boot door. Sounded great from the passenger seat too so a bonus.
Jack, loving...
Looking in the manual it says both of the fuse places you have marked are "Not used". But if you look carefully at the pic of the fuse box in the manual there is a fuse in the holder you are saying does not have any clips.
I would love to know this because at current when I want main beams and...
Last time I opened mine, it wouldn't close. Had to tape a bin bag over it cos was leaving it at home while at uni. Haven't opened it since 2006 lol
Mine doesn't creak tho. But the stupid blind wont stay closed so can get even hotter inside at times.
I hate the lil 8 valve unit under the bonnet and the scratches I kinda put on it by accident when I was overeagerly removing masking tape.
I do however like whatever has happened to the exhaust, its got a bit of "sound" at low revs which is nice lol
Yeah that amp looks like it'd do well.
Yeah run the speaker outs from the amp to just one pair of the connectors on the sub box. But I would disconnect the wires from the other connector. No need to take them off the sub itself but disconnect from box terminals and use electrical tape to seal...
Did think about a new hifi but doubt a usb system will beat my technics amp and kef speakers for sound.
The other way is too much money and inconvenience tbh.
I'll just use it as another excuse to buy a ps3 rather than to reduce my student loan lol
lol
I don't want to connect my laptop directly to my hifi cos they're on opposite sides of the room and my laptop can't output bass through the headphone connection, maybe cos its a business spec laptop, they lowered they bass output? :S God knows but bass sucks on it, checked drivers and all.
Yeah I got the headphone to RCA cable which is what I would use if I could find that thing that connects to usb sticks.
I think you an stream to ps3 as well. If a ps3 can play music from usb that'll be fine for me, I'll jut wait a couple of months till I get my ps3. Thanks mate.
Well basically I want to listen to it out of my hifi rather than throught my laptop and pc speakers.
My ps2 (and ps3 when I get it) is constantly connected to my hifi, its the only way to hear sound from my ps2 due to my set up, so don't mind playing it through ps2/ps3 if poss.
Or was...
lol well I'm about to get a 8/16GB memory stick for my car hifi. Don't really want an mp3 player as i want it tiny to carry in my pocket and so no cables as usb port is on front on HU.
Just thought a ps3 will play mp3 through usb wont it? Poss to do this on a ps2 in the meantime before I get a...
Haven't seen anywhere else that says its dual. This site says its single:

In ruffneck's 4th pic, looks like only one terminal on sub so SVC.
Actually I agree, its not DVC. I just realised both sets of wires go to the same terminal. If it was DVC then there would be 2 pairs of connectors on the sub. The download on this page http://www.retrevo.com/search/v2/jsp/downloadPage.jsp?doc=c6bb935732dae47a86d691868a6e03ed&q=JBL+GTO1202D shows...
Tbh I'd want a 1080p just to have the 1920x1080 resolution. I know there wont be huge differences between 720p and 1080p on a 32" but since non-1080p TVs come in 1366x768 res, 720p is upscaled. 1080p TV with a 1080i or 1080p wont need scaling so should be a slighly cleaner pic.
From memory of a few years ago, my sub had 2x negative and 2x positive but as standard there was a metal clip connecting one of those positives to one of those negatives.
I would wire one negative on the box to one positive on the box and then have a single channel 200W amp running to the free...
Hopefully at the end of this summer, now I'm 21 insurance is coming down a bit *fingers crossed for keeping NCB - 5days left!* so will be looking at Golf GTi Turbo.
I had a similar problem, turned out to be the lead connecting battery to chassis.
If it wont jump start via connecting the other car to your battery terminals, try connecting the negative cable to the engine (as this is earthed). If it starts now, it means you have a poor connection between...
Yup. Got them to match a clearance offer from e2save.com, 11 months free so only £45 for 12 months and get to keep my number. I was just finishing my old chequeback deal with them and had no problems, so I went for it.
Could have had a different deal where they credit my account with £350 so...
