I got quoted about £950 fully comp. 21, 3NCB, 3000miles, 1 fault accident and 3 points in 2004. £300 excess with both parents as named drivers.
That's fecking cheap! I paid nearly £2k on a 1.4 8v when I was 18. And that was with a £470 excess, although I did have an accident and 3 points :o
Tough one. I think the phase 1 looks sportier but thinking the phase 2's design seems more modern so I'd pick that. Think interior is better as well.
As for conditions, if the phase 1 is in much better nick, then I'd pick that over a tatty phase 2.
Sorry if this was no help at all lol its...
Yup. Once your last contract expired and you do not upgrade or cancel appropiately, you continue on a rolling contract. Which basically means you continue paying the same amount for the same amount of minutes & texts as before but you are not in a long-term agreement. You can give a month's...
Nice pics. Especially liking the red and dark green ones.
Wasn't a huge fan of the styling of those before, but starting to warm to them after seeing your pics. Might consider one as next car if insurance isn't too mad.
Excellent post mate. I've been trying to drive economically and altho I can get 100 miles on the gauges last quarter, I can never seem to get more than about 33mpg per tank. That's with it being ragged every now and again. Thinking I might change my lambda soon but thinking of a new car so not...
Seen a lot worse but prefer it standard tbh.
Don't like those little vents on the front sides, steering wheel is gash and not a huge fan of debagged look - always looks like something is missing, which it is obviously lol.
If lights stay on, doesn't it mean its still feeding from the battery until its full?
I had the problem of my sub cutting when it was turned up loud. Switched from 40A to 60A battery and has been totally fine. That was a couple of years ago I think and its never cut out or dimmed lights etc.
I bought my car and it was 7yrs old (40k) and no proof of cambelt change. So it was the 1st thing I did. Cost me £170 from a decent private garage I used to go to.
I don't think I ever "ran" it in. I pumped mine hard from the start when was testing everything was connected properly and no loose connections and never turned it down.
Only one reason I don't pump mine as soon as I start driving.....I don't want to piss my neighbours off. As soon as I'm out...
If you got XP with that computer, you need a copy of an OEM XP disc.
If you bought XP yourself as an add-on, you'll need a copy of a retail XP disc.
If you can borrow from a friend, or download a copy then should be ok.
This issue should be on google or microsoft.com.
Oh yeah I know that, I thought you guys ment he'd have to use the actual disc that came with his personal system. Another OEM or retail should be fine if his was OEM or retail respectively.
I think a pc monitor would tell easier as they tend to be sharper. Plus its prob higher res than 32" TV.
Maybe I was right about the cable then...whatever system, you'll just have to try different ones and see I suppose.
Hmmm maybe it was just me seeing things but could have sworn it looked better than a cheapo cable.
But it does make sense since its all 0s and 1s.
Ok so cable aside :o it prob the fact that its 720p and compressed file. Upscale a regular DVD to 1080i and should see a difference in that.
Obviously you wont see the same quality as if were 1080p but with 42" TV it prob wont make the biggest difference. What might make the difference is the fact that your TV will have to upscale the movie as 720p resolution is 1280x720 and I'm guessing your TV is either 1366x768 or 1920x1080, so...
I dont think the XP discs are code specific. I've always used a CD-R copy of windows home when repairing/re-installing windows and its fine.
The easiest and most simple way is to boot from an XP disc and format and reinstall in one from that.
I'd google it to be sure, but I've never had any...
How big is your TV and what resolution? Generally, you'll notice it more improvement the larger the screen is.
I have seen blu-ray on 50" TV all hooked up with proper top notch cables and I thought it was amazing. The HDMI cable is sooo important.
Sorry, can't remeber the name of it. Will check tomo as I think my mum may have keptthat page as she wanted it. I think you can only recharge about 10 times before they become useless and I believe the battery gets less each time.
Like said, lambda?
I prob need to check mine actually. Been lucky to get over 30mpg average on a tank (33 was best and it happened once!) But I only do around 3-4,000 miles a year so I enjoy them lol.
I get worse on a motorway cos the car is always at 4.5/5000 rpm.
I have some uni-ross from a few years ago and I thought they were rather good tbh. Used to use them in my digital camera and my wireless ps2 controller. They lasted for quite a while in the recorder, they were 2100mAh.
Just found them in my digi-cam that I haven't used in more than a month and...
Yup I had the same prob with Tesco not taking into account new brakes fitted 2 days before my write off. I didn't argue much tho because they prob made about 10-20mph lower impact.
They paid me out very quick though, within a week iirc, and was only £25 less than what I had paid for the car 2...
Nope, its not clipping at all. I've set the gain and bass boost (or whatever its called) just perfect so that i can adjust it to loud enough in the car without it distorting and low enough for when I don't want a head-banging beat. I cant really drive around pumping kilowatts out just to show...

My amp: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2910.html
I rate them pretty well as do my friends. Its on only about half...
There are plenty of amps that have a speaker-wire input. But that would mean losing the use of your rear speakers (unless you amp them too).
You can get a decent CD player for £50 on most sites. Mine Sony was £95, it has CD-MP3/USB/AUX and outputs for fronts+rear amps and a dedicated sub...
I'l give them a try then mate. I REALLY want to get a 3 now. I'm gonna get sooo many lectures from my rents about buying stuff they dont think I "need" lol oh well, sure it'll be damn worth it lol
