Yep, he showed me a ruined diff he took out of another CS members box a few weeks back. Fitted a new diff, some bearings and a syncro for aout 300 notes. Can't fault him

why not get yours rebuilt with a taller 5th gear?

He can give you a 60mph top speed in 5th if you want. Or the opposite and anywhere in between. I think the Cup box is the same ratio's as all phase 2's and 182's We use a Cup box in ours

he can change the final drive ratio aswell if you needed that done. I think 5th gear ratio is changeable aswell

You wll have to ask him. Im not sure. He said it wasn't nessisary when I asked about ours for racing. We intend to get it rebuilt every season anyway

Are you completely stopped when you put it into reverse? Could be clutch drag if so, do you have a thik floor mat stopping you putting the pedal all the way down?
