Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
knows it so well he probably did it with one and behind his back while eating a cheese string.
Glad its all back together, all this makes me want to avoid gravel traps even more
GSF supplied me very good quality bearings when i did some for bomber. iirc they had several choices. Cheap ones around 9 quid and skf ones for something like 18
yep, only very early 172's have an external fuel filter by the tank, Renault told me mine didnt have one, then I looked.
iirc its built into the pump on the phase 2's and late phase 1's.
I wouldnt worry about it.
either the fan or the switch. I have a complete fan for sale for a phase 1. came off a W plate car.
looking at this thread it looks different to the climite cars one. Or I clould of been some help to others
passenger foot well is a good place, nice and low and further back. Its just the pipes the are a little more difficult. Pipe wont 'burst' if you have a leak it wil just pour oil out onto the floor
Believe it or not i got mine from partco. they were in a different box from the renault one but they were the oe plugs inside the box. Might help someone
Maybe some water got down the plug holes.
I changed mine at 52k and they were well shagged. As James said they cleared up all sorts of little idle and starting issues
Ive got the pump with the built in resovior. they go for about 80-100 on the bay. Got mine cheap through a mate tho. High pressure pipe can be made up but it might be easier/cheaper to get the clio and saxo pipes joined up, depeding on where the pump is gonna sit.
Ive planned on putting it in...
Having see it in the metal every step of the way and had a hand in its progress i have to say that its current spec is by far the best looking its been.
Imo, swap back to standard interior tho
yes you are correct but it looks like its modified.
Sleepers look standard/stock/s**t/base model. Not with massive ferrari rims, crome body work and dragging its ass down the road
obviously not
Thread would make more sense renamed 'The anything modifiied or just different looking or even your own car appreciation thread'
