As lemonnobby said thats cheap, they havent priced up the kit. Either that or its just a belt change and they are leaving the pulleys (pointless imo as pulleys fail)
Ive herad of dealers telling customers that their belts look ok on 36k service
Ive just spent over 230 quid at the dealers buying a cambelt kit and some other bits. im changing my cambelt as looking through the history it was done using a non gen kit at a small local garage. Its also down on power so im hoping its timed slightly out.
I thought id get a phaser pulley...
FF aux kit from Renault is £107+vat i think.
Book time is 2.7 hours to fit.
I did one at Christmas in less than an hour and half, back then the full kit was only £45 too!
I think he means the track rod (steering arm) itself, not the rod end.
I know Russ_16v has done his track rods/steering rack arms, might be worth a pm. My n/s one has some very slight play in it so i need to do mine at some stage
no timing marks, there is a pin that goes through the block and lock the crank and then u have to remove the two oil caps on the back of the head and lock the cams in place.
iirc the belt should be quite tight
As beef says, for low get sportlines, or prolines for handling. Can get them from Ktec, yozza or somewhere like that
Depends when u can get down to me, i work shifts so have many different days free.
