Top ones are direct fit and the tweeters are the same size/fitment as standard, sound pretty good amped but I was underwhelmed running off the headunit personally.
Not sure on the factors side of things of the length, but its bloody long thats for sure. Renault is 82 00 226 493 and £18.28 (or thereabouts) if you come up stumps. It might be fine on the current belt but if it isn't £18 is cheaper than a top end rebuild.
For the sake of £20 and peace of mind in my eyes yes, its the tensioning/detensioning thats the problem not the age/miliage of the belt. If it break it will 95% wrap itself round the crank pulley and derail the cambelt, happened a million times with rather catastrophic results.
Oh and special tool needed for the aux tensioner so you either need to make one or laser do a copy but you'll need to mod it a little to work 100% properly. I'd offer to lend a hand but bit of a distance issue!
Bumper off and it'll come out through the hole where the left hand grille was, don't think you can get away with just taking the grille out as the bumper still obscures some of the hole.
Then aux belt off (replace it after!) aux tensioner off, alternator and all its assorted bracketry off, pas...
They've got a good system to screw though if your a barefaced liar/c**t like me. Had plenty of money off through them over the last few years. They really don't want you to make use of the 14 day cooling off period.
Which is thinner so if anything is more likely to run a lower oil pressure if anythings wrong, wants changing back to 5w40 ideally and if it doesn't do it again it was the pressure switch.
The size code is cast into the rim somewhere, they're as fred says a very very fruity size and gold plated from renault. Just pulling a front one up here shows as £343! assuming you can actually get one that is.
I'd want the oil pressure checking before i'd be happy with it 5w40 is the right oil and it should have the opposite effect when cold as the pressure will be higher with the thicker oil causing a higher restriction hence greater oil pressure. So it should easily satify the pressure switch...
Thats a magnex oval exhaust by the way, not the most visually appealing thing in the world but I think they sound great!
How come no xenons and washers?
Yes the multi timer unit is the same thing as the UCH for all intents and purposes, the MTU was just the slightly more basic unit fitted to the Ph1. The uch replaced it in the ph2 onwards.
How many times have you input the wrong radio code? If only the 3 time it should let you re-enter the code...
