Yes its all the same rear braking setup if they have discs so 172 one will fit just fine.
Only the Ph3s have discs.
Its a dCi100 which along with the 1.6 gets rear discs on a Ph3.
Its neither of these, its the PWM module for the fan speed regulation. If its running full speed or not at all it'll be that, common thing. £100 from renault unfortuantely.
They really really are stupidly loose, the manual states 10nm which is absolutely bugger all. Its so loose you'd swear it wouldn't seal, the designs debatable but with the space they've got theres no other option.
It comes on for other faults as well usually conbined with the efwl, as a general rule if thats on as well any cheapy generic obd reader can read the fault as well as the more complex stuff.
It IS an engine management fault light I assure you whatever the manual says, its the standard obd2 fault warning light its just renault want to throw their own in there too. It'll come on for things other than cat faults, its come on now as theres a fault with the engine management.

Means the cats shot most likely. Sensor 2 is the post cat sensor that checks the cats operation and its showing that its fecked, get the emissions checked i'd guess they'll be off.

I've fitted on to Has's car and think it should stick out a bit, although as its all sleeved joints and can have it how you want really. They should be able to sort it easily enough, although i'd be dissapointed they've left it like that in the first place as its obviously not right like that imo.
