Re: Cub 172's Flamer Project
Nice little update Oli, the car was on fine form and did sound great! Looking forward to the interior progress but appreciate that the wedding must take priority over everything..... well, most things ;)
I saw a 991 in the metal yesterday and was surprised how different it looked to the 997.2. It was just a brief glimpse but it looked much more purposeful.
Looks like you had a good day out JT
Sorry Naith, didn't mean to step on your toes ;-)
I got the impression there was a northern group (+Nickson) and the Failsport group, so was just putting it out there to some of the people I actually know in SC. Don't fancy completing any initiation tasks to join a tight group ;-)
Having spent the last few hours at work (ahem) looking at all the threads & pictures from this year's 24 Heures Du Mans I've decided I'm totally on board for next year, I honestly don't know why I've not been before.
This thread may be a little early but at least it gives people plenty of time...

Had camber bolts fitted today and took #455 out for a run to see how it felt - awesome!
Couple of pics taken on the phone near Combe Gibbet on the Berkshire/Hampshire border.
I like the twisties but that took the piss! Is that what the Indy500 is like? :sleepy:
Good to meet some people again and others for the first time, hopefully see you all at the next one.
Tim
I would have thought GPS is dependent on data being switched on. If you're abroad you'll also need your roaming bar lifted. Your best bet is to go into a store or call your provider for advice. Don't forget to switch off voicemail as you can incur unwanted costs that way too I think
To each, his own. I agree it's not a perfect fit, but compared to a standard-sized plate I think it's a huge improvement. At the end of the day it's only an opinion, even if yours is wrong :p
