It did didn't it?
They only showed a short part of the lap before it slowed right down. If you listen carefully to the engine you can hear it rev so far, and then it misses/stutters around the last few corners.
LOL
Just like Webber after the airborne incident at Valencia this year.
Having said that, if there was gravel there he could have been launched over the safety fence and out of the circuit as he was doing 170 something at the time
Not strictly true.
Looking at the Bathurst incident, if the gravel trap was tarmac (as is almost the norm on F1 circuits now) instead of digging in and rolling, he could have simply locked all four wheels, and the momentum would have carried him in a straight line until he stopped.
They've...
If price is a factor you can't ignore the £3-5k saving you'd get if you got an Ignis.
Oi!
Nice car though. Was on my shopping list but the miser in me ruled the day.
That looks good, who cares about the heatsoak. If you're happy with how it drives, and more importantly how it sounds, that's all that matters. Shame you couldn't make Haynes today...I could have done with some support LOL.
Saner made it back OK then? Such a shame...organises the day, then has to leave early to get home and beat the fading light.
Good to see everyone as usual. Nice to put forum names to faces...I now know who some of you are!!!
The Ignis continues to impress me, handled all I could throw at...
I'd buy a 200 Cup and chuck 20k at the mortgage personally.
Double the cost, for a gain of circa 3 seconds on a track, and consumable costs to make your eyes water. No thanks.
There's a lot to be said for this. Faster cars can be hugely frustrating unless you have the space to enjoy them...which can be rare. This is why I love my Ignis so much, flat out, everywhere, and it handles/feels just like my Cup.
I don't think people are saying that, just that it could be done for a whole lot less.
Lines, good fluid, HC discs and good pads = circa £300.
Four pots = circa £1,000.
The four pots will give you NO better on road performance, so that's £700 spent on looking good. Or not as the case maybe...
LOL
At 2:56 whan you HAD to be on your side for an approaching car, the left hand lane middle-point was almost exactly in the centre of the video footage.
A lot of the rest of the time, the centre point was to the right of the centre line on the road.
You were on the other side a lot of...
Was the 172 Monaco Blue?
If so, they guy's a bit of a tool, drove up the ass of my Ignis last time I saw him and he's made of cast iron so doesn't need to ever wear a seatbelt.
