You can get the rings from renault for circa £30 a set each. Part #77 01 472 823.
I'd not be overly confident codging it together like that tbh but might be worth trying, you sure the block hasn't been damaged when the crank bent?
Your talking approx £200 for the UCH depend on which version of it you need and then it needs to be fitted either by renault or someone with a clip computer as it needs coding to the car as its part of the immobiliser. Don't think the UCH is capable of first time code learning like th ECU so the...
Yep as you need to feed to boot on from one end as there isn't a split in it. You'll need some new gearbox oil as well then if its a passenger side. You'll have fun refilling that.
I've used bosch in my old one no problems at all, still the best place to get the plugs is from ebay from MNC Automotive iirc the sellers called. £30 a set which is much better than what renault will charge you.
They're either balanced incorrectly or they're buckled, that the all and end of it really. You won't need spigot rings as being Clio alloys they'll already have a 60.1mm centre bore.
Just change it imo, any cheap/quick fixes and you'll only end up doing the job twice. A CV boot is hardly anything major to change in the grand scale of things.
No way to do it if you need to take the passenger side shaft out as it'll drop all the gearbox oil as soon as you undo the shaft seal/inner gaitor from the box to get the shaft out. Drivers side is fine, don't need to worry about the oil.
Which side? Pretty simple either way, passenger side and you'll need to replace the gearbox oil. Basically you need the shaft out so you can change the gaitor on it.
Should've done it the same time as the balljoints as it'd be easy peasy to get the shaft(s) out.
