13s are too small for the clio and i'm pretty sure 14" is the smallest size that will clear the front brakes. Having said that an 8v will only have 230mm discs so maybe.
Managed a record 345m to the light in the meggy last week was impressed as I didn't really drive any differently. That would conclude I drive like a bit of a girl then :o. Averaged out to 32mpg or something similar.
Yes dash has to come off, you unplug the red connector from the back of the display and plug it into the red connector on the adapter which is a copy of the socket on the back of the display. Yes uses the remote off the headunit which you'd normally run a sub off.
I've got a later version of...
They're f**king awesome! Dead impressed with them look to be decent copies of the original font/layout which is nice to see, where'd you get them from?
Some proper night pics would be good, bet they look even better.
Blue wire is to the headunit remote to power the adapter, red plug goes to the wires coming from the steering remote which are currently connected to the back of the clock/display. Unplug them from back of clock into adapter, simple.
Right depending on how you want them to work, if you want them to come on with the ignition then its the Yellow wire Pin 2 same connector. To come one with the dash illumination its the Blue wire Pin 3 same connector.
Sorry!
s**t, thats a constant live i've given you there. Will most probably drain the battery, i'll have a look for the illumination one now. Thought that it would've only come on with the ignition. Hold on a min.
In the middle of the skuttle panel theres a rubber drain pipe about 6 inches long which drains water out of the skuttle. It can get blocked them the water backs up and comes into the cabin through the heater, take the easy side off and get the hose out to see if its draining. Otherwise could be...

Do not fit hid bulbs in halogen clusters as you'll most likely blind everyone coming the other way with the skatter. If you want them you'll either have to buy the real thing or get some projector clusters to fit them in.
On first impression they may seem very similar but have one and learn how to drive it and you will soon learn there is a world of difference between the two. This is speaking from experience btw, felt the same thing initially with the speed.
Re: Brought a car then sold the car - How much have you lost?
I've never bought a car expecting it to be an investment, depreciation boo fvcking hoo get over it. Buy something with a long waiting list and sell it straight away if you want to make money on one.
Make your you've 100% read the manual and understand the versioning system, theres been far too many threads from people who didn't rtfm and then moaning.
Same way just don't stop with the brakes held on or the heat will kill the pads/maybe warp the disc. Just keep driving without using the brake for 5 minutes or so to cool them back off again.
Ignoring the obvious its missing front arch liners which would make me doubt the rest of the repair. And its on Mk1 17s if i'm not mistaken, and I know they don't sit perfect but the front passenger wheel doesn't sit in the middle of the arch.
Do not hold the pads on the discs like that when they're that hot or you'll be binning them. Don't even stop after getting them hot.
I always had that much pedal travel and it was 110% fully bled.
Other than me stupidly kissing a curb saturday and putting a lovely mark on the nearside front wheel its fine. Should be sorted wednesday though chipsaway ftw!
