If your meaing the black box where the inlet hose goes to the right of the engine cover thats the throttle body.
Plug it in, ECU does the rest. It programs the throttle stops everytime you turn the ignition on. Although I don't think it has anything to do with the pedal, just the body.

90p or so from the stealers, they're quite a custom nut and i'd want the proper ones to hold the seats in. Especially as your getting rid i'm assuming?
Heater will be a new fan control pack which unfortuantely are £100 for the part alone but they're easy to fit. Loose back end will be either good tyres on front s**t ones on the back, low tread or leaking rear dampers.

+1 same thing happened to mine. Had to strip all the carpets and foam out to dry it though so most of the front interior seats etc. The drain is at the bottom of the skuttle panel in the middle.
Doubt theres much you can do tbh, coppaslip'd the back of the pads? Only only other thing I can think of is to get some of the anti squeel pad that comes on greenstuff pads or similar.
The slotted clip (1st one) is 77 01 056 217, the plastic rivet (2nd one) is 77 03 072 360 both about 50p each and for the 3rd one i'd need the vehicle code for a Mk2 V6 to find that as I can't remember what it is off the top of my head.
