41k miles sounds pretty good to me.
I managed about 80k on mine, but then the Cup has very low rear brake bias - your DCi would do much more braking at the rear.
Ooh, longer track, same number of cars (?) = more space :approve:
Link/pic would be good. I've been watching videos of the proposed layout and dreaming the line. Need to undo all that now LOL
My orange ones were Halfords spray paint and they looked terrible after only a few trackdays, the dust getting ingrained into the paint and becoming 100% impossible to get off.
The yellow paint I used recently was smoothrite, and after 4 trackdays, they clean up much better.
I think that's...
Nope. Nothing, everything is as it should be.
Police now think it was taken, driven 1/3 mile, parked up and left until it was found the next day.
Don't recall the exact mileage before it was taken and there was still stacks of fuel in it.
I love mine.
K-tec stealth Mk1 + Yozzasport decat + stripped interior sounds like this;

How can anyone not like that?
Breathing mods, brakes, suspension, stripped interior. Just as well mine's the same - if I was standard I don't think I'd have had him. Was a right weapon.
You're very fortunate. A baby en route means pennies need saving, so it's out the window for this year.
Origin b2 overspeed waning...
Don't forget the low mileage car may also have been driven by someone who;
only ever does trips of 5 miles or less
holds the car on a hill on the clutch/never uses the handbrake
is continually on and off the brakes
uses crap fuel and oilAll of which have the potential to f*** a car up/cost lots...
Re: Any point upgrading to performance slotted brake disks if standard ones are okay?
Brembo HC are more than enough with decent pads unless your name's Fred.
Didn't feel too bad...I'd been building up to it for a few laps, and finally thought f*** it, I'll have a go.
Thought I was going to run out of exit so I'm going to try easing off the throttle a tiny bit next time to help it rotate more. At least there's stacks of run off until I get that...
I just kept saying to myself "It's OK, there's stacks of run-off, it's OK, it's OK, IT'S OK..."...
Once out there that run-off's not too bad a surface either LOL
Re: Standard vs uprated brake pads
Standard road pads stop you fine. Once or twice.
Uprated pads (plus uprated anything else in the braking system) means you can stop again, and again, and again, and again, and again without the fade you get with standard pads...which is why it's a popular...
