I'd be checking the battery for sure then if you've flattenend it, if its an older one that might have finished it off.
And adam just to add to the confusion all the alpines i've had have been red->red/yellow->yellow, no swapping required!
Moisure in the bulb holders. Its tracking across. Dry them out and clean them up or get some replacments.
Try the search next time btw, this has been covered a million times.
Heres hoping you get away with a new cat and possibly exhaust. I'm always so careful of backing at curbs for the same reason as my exhaust sits below the bumper.
When I refitted my standard suspension to my 1.6 when I sold it the springs had expanded due to them being complete uncompressed for 9 months or so. I had to get a bar on the arb with the mrs standing on it to lower the hub so I could use a screwdriver and the ball joint to move the hub around...
No is the short answer, long answer is yes but not worth it would co st a lot. None of the wiring is there, neither is the correct ecu programming there. Hence why I made sure I bought one with cruise and esp when I went looking for one.
O/T but how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? Looking at getting one myself.
Also did you get done by customs for VAT when it came into the country?
Yes but as you add it to basket it adds tax and shipping to the uk, so ends up at 189euro + 27.14euro tax which ends up as £160? Or is the tax included and they just tell you how much so it works out to £140 shipped?

As said previously they don't do much lower down, this can be helped somewhat by the basic breathing mods (quite a lot with the right ones).
When I changed my 1.6 for the 172 at first I didn't think there was that much difference between the two and felt a little dissapointed with the speed...
Probably looking at a Ph2 172 for that money, anyway did this for another forum and it covers the basics have stole a few pics from here hope people don't mind :o.
Just to clear everything up you've got:
Ph1 172 - The bug eyed shape, all the options avaliable in the Mk2 Ph1 Clio A/C, ABS...
Yep heres hoping for you!
Yes halfords sell the 8mm square sump plug socket you need. I'd refill the gearbox with castrol 75w80 stuff (again halfords sell if your desperate slightly cheaper online), i've used it a few times in the renault boxes and they seem to like it fine.
