Yeah i've heard he's quite good :D, you manage to clean fully it after? My efforts were wasted after the -7c chill this morning! Gutted about that cup spoiler too was getting excited! lol
You won't know until you get the driveshaft out and have a look. If the circlip is still there then happy days, get the broken one out and get a new one.
If its gone then you need to find it first. Which could mean splitting the box.
Nope can happen to all JC5 boxes pre 182/very late 172 before they switched to the bolted diff retainer to get away from this problem. So can effect a very large number of cars, not just the Clio but can happen to a Williams/Ph1 172/Ph2 172/Lagunas/etc.
Seats are average ;), nah as I said very very nice just a pitty about the price tag!
Someone did a good job on riveting that footrest on I see. I've still got serious V6 fever! :dapprove:
Check for similar cars on autotrader etc and get a price from there, remember mods don't add value. £4800 is a bit steep I think, you can get 1.6's with less miles for that. First thing i'd do is strip it back to standard you'll get rid of it much easier like that, and whilst it does look nice...

Theres a variety of oils avaliable from opie oils etc, I like castrol stuff seems to work well in the...
75w80 and 3.1 litres.
Drain plug is on the bottom of the box and ideally you want a new copper washer to make sure it doesn't leak, i've not changed a few before an they don't tend to leak but for the sake of 20p i'd get one. Fill/Level plug is on the front of the box and will be great fun.
Quite possibly, especially with age as they perish like fook. Shouldn't be anything expensive if your doing it yourself, middle mount is £7, rear is £20.
Who makes the engine in these? These got the BMW lump in them?
Looks alright, looks like you get plenty for your money but I couldn't get over the fact your driving a rover 75 with a bodykit.
Its a lot easier with the guard off and changing every 10k isn't that special when the service interval is 12k. I do mine every 5k and it comes out dirty enough after that imo!
