K-tec stealth + decat + the back stripped = sounds lovely I don't think they get any quieter - mine's still just as loud, but it loses it's edge, smooths out a bit as the miles build up. Unless you floor it :evil:

LMAO at all the cheapskates :rasp: I bought mine from Yozzasport, because I don't every want to have to buy another one. You might not be able to see the welds, but they give me the comfort of knowing I'll not have to pay for a replacement because I originally saved £20 on one without...

I agree with most above...get it changed. You have a responsibility on days like that to make sure your car is fit for the purpose and safe. You'll have to sign an indemnity form saying so. If the trackday/car limits organisor saw your tyre like that, or it was pointed out by another...

Tyre imbalance didn't help here in my opinion. Whilst Contis are good, the PE2 exaltos are better in the wet. My wet incident...

I love being on track with them - very hard to get by, needs focus and effort. Can't wait for FCS - I'm expecting to get properly owned on track by northy's lot.

I think that looks great :approve: Surprised that no one's been brave enough to do the instrument surround as well though? Along with the gear knob and steering wheel insert, us 172 Cup paupers had that done in Mondial blue at the factory :rasp:

Mine's a 53 plate (Nov 2003) and it's done 87k since new. It's the fastest car in the world now.

As always...stunning pics Chris. I got drenched there today at lunchtime...sought refuge under the canopy of the Guiness bar for 45 mins LOL The front camber on that Toyota F1 car was extreme!

I've never been to FCS before. Are we really genuinely likely to have 150+ members all parked up together? Impressive. Can those of us with tracktime park at the front/back/edge? LOL

You're better off running 15" rims which is what I and most others do on track - you get a much wider choice of track rubber available.

I think they're nice enough things, well designed and bolted together, just a few too many things put me off; Acquisition cost. Fuel cost. Insurance cost. Tyre cost. Interior. Is the Focus RS not still a Focus then? There's thousands of them there things I tell thee ;)

Is the route from club stand to track easy and clear for those of us doing track time? I'm out on both Cliosport and Williamsclio.co.uk sessions

All in good time... once my new barge arrives I'm tempted to take it back to bare metal and respray the shell...white. Those were a bit crap, mistimed a little. Anyone who says the K-tec stealth is too loud is officially a pansy :rasp:
