I ordered one of those TyTn for my IT man too... I wanted something a little more like a phone, so went for the S620 as it's only 12mm thick.
Direct push? That's just noise to me...
You know me better than to ask a question like that Lee LOL
I've got one of these coming today through work.
Anyone had any experience?
Am I going to be banging my head in frustration?

Are you you're talking about these? If so...don't worry about it.
They fit and feel fine, and if you can sense/feel/tell/see the difference in offset, you're a far better driver than everyone else on here.
Ban airbags, and have a six-inch nail sticking straight out from the centre of the steering wheel.
People would drive a lot more considerately/sensibly then.
Not familiar with that one.
Though I am aware that normal "race" fluid will absorb more moisture, and therefore boil and give air bubbles, as in normal race use, brakes would be bled before each outing.
I might be talking rubbish though :o
What I can say is that a freshly charged and bled...
Go with what edde recommended - Castrol DOT4 Super Response.
And stay away from race fluid unless you're prepared to bleed the brakes regularly to get the water/air out.
Taken from the Airfield day last November.
Listen to the noise as it snakes away from the line, and how close the ratios are...this thing was a f***ing nutter!
Clicky...
My 172 Cup had its wiring loom replaced twice before 12k miles were up. From 12k to 76k, including many track/airfield days/sprints...the only thing I've had to replace has been consumables.
It's always started first turn of the key too :)
I would, happily. Why not?
Renault build them to be capable of that.
Renault invite you to race tracks to drive them really hard.
If Renault do that then Renault can offer no objection whatsoever on the basis of track use, to any warranty claim that may arise.
I've run two different sets of 15's on track, and don't know the offset of either.
What tyres I run on them makes far more of a difference.
15's are worth it in that not only is the rubber cheaper, but you also get a wider choice of track rubber than you would for 16's.
Renault run trackdays themselves, for Renault drivers only, and positively encourage you to drive as well/hard as you can.
Their website videos promote their cars by showing them being given death around race tracks.
Trackdays will not affect your warranty, regardless of what some clueless...
No way...he was coming back to me on every straight. It was being driven by the organiser of the IAM trackday. He was going for it as much as he was comfortable with, and down the straights his foot was on the floor.
They're only about 200bhp or something the old ones, hence not too much...
I like the effort that's gone into that but...
Am I the only one that thinks that looks just wrong sitting that low?
I mean, surely you can't drive it like that? I know I couldn't...every corner would be fukced after the first roundabout I came across.
Unless it's running stupidly stiff...
I've covered over 10,000 road and track miles and they're not even half worn.
The DS2500's were similar for me too.
I can't comment on brake dust for either as my Cup sees a carwash about 5 times a year if it's lucky so the wheels are always black.
For the mileage you have to bear in mind...
