Had a standard service today, and while Mike had it, I asked him to fit a new set of front calipers (which I supplied), and bleed the brakes all round (Mike supplied the fluid).
After all that TLC, it then gets a nice jetwash, then handwash.
Less than £180 :D (including unlimited coffee...
There a video of a virtually standard 172 Cup against a virtually standard 182 Trophy flat out up the straights at Goodwood here.
Cup had 50k was running R-sport ECU and ITG panel and Yoko A032 tyres, Trophy the same but standard tyres and about 3-5k IIRC (Nik?).
Cup had more than the edge.
I can't get out of work tomorrow, I'm sprinting at Haynes on Saturday, and we've a full day on Sunday so I miss out on it this year - gutted :(
This is what makes it unmissable though, from last year, an F1 car so close and revving so high it makes your ears bleed :D

Ooh, never thought of that. Better get the GT passenger seat or my wife will kill me
What are they like on your daily commete Steve? How far do you go each day?
You could do a lot worse than a 2 hour drive to Portsmouth to visit Mike at Rentech.
Check back through the dealer forum...he has loads of good feedback, my Cup has never been touched by anyone other than him since new, and now on 64k, I'm taking it to him again this Friday.
Following on from here where I had a sound problem with my Origin b2, I sent it off to them.
Two days later I'm e-mailed to say they've found the fault, and it's been sent for repair/replacement.
Two more days later and I'm e-mailed to say it's all fixed, and is ready for despatch.

Mine will be filthy as usual. I've currently got 1kg of sugar loose all over in the back of mine since a load I bought from Makro decided to open itself when I went, ahem, a little bit too fast/sideways round a roundabout.
Never a good idea with 5 trays of 24 cans of coke either.
Sorry...
They always tend to be around the £150-200 mark. If you know of somewhere that does regular OPL days for £99...share it with us.
As far as heat goes, bear in mind that things like brakes can get up to 200 degrees C if not more (can anyone say more accurately?), so I'd not think the fact that...
Those pics make me feel a whole lot better...
"You're sad you are."
"Me? Sad? Why?"
"I only know other women that have shoes specifically for driving in" - I get that every time I strap mine on for a blast LOL
Mine's got both thumbgrips blistered/craked/falling apart.
Also, where my hands rest (at quarter to three), the leather has "metled" on both sides. didn't go suddenly due to heat, but has got progressively worse over the last 6 months.
this is at 2.5 years old and 63k miles.
Don't get one of his ^^^ Steve if you're after the quiet life LOL
It is a fiddly job to swap for each MOT, but mine's in the hands of Rentech so often that for Mike to swap it for me each time is pretty hassle free.
Fred...decats...hmmmm....
I had the exact same dilemma as you, I'm not into big showy tail-pipes so the stealth seemed ideal.
Had it on for about 2 months now, and covered about 5k miles...noise wise, if you're light with the throttle, ar just driving normally I think you'd be hard pressed to tell it apart from...
