The noise I was referring to was a very slight metallic sounding "clunk" when coming off the throttle in 1st or 2nd gear, whilst rolling in traffic.
It was there when the car was delivered from new, so it wasnt abuse that broke it. Talking to Mike172sport who actually arranged the replacements...
I bid on that when it was auctioned during April...went for £250 more than my limit...but I was soooo tempted to keep going.

As I found out at The Esses at Castle Combe yesterday...I was just commenting on how all the other cars with their specialised track-day rubber were going to really struggle in the rain and...woosh...round I went!
I was losing approx 10-15 seconds a lap in the wet...but it taught me how to be...
Theres a function within the set-up menu where you can disable the rear speakers over and above any changes to the F/R fade that you might make.
I think you press and hold the "SRC" button for a few seconds to get to the menu...you can also change speed sensitivity etc.
Im at Castle Combe on 30/06...is that when youre there?
I got a quote from Competition Car Insurance, and for £11,000 cover with £1,100 excess it was £134!!!

I once heard some advice that you should only ever buy a Ferrari, if you can easily afford to buy two.
That way you should have enough stashed away to keep it running...:o
Ive got a couple of visible chips on my bonnet now, only through the Mondial Blue, down to the primer. No exposed metal on show.
I got a touch up pack from Renault (paint + lacquer) but have never done anything like this before (never given a flying-f*** on any of my cars before).
