One set up will suit 1 person and not anyone else, so I see your point but at the same time if it suited his driving style then it's spot on.
In a way there isnt a lot of variation, mor adjustability with the AST's if they have top mounts too, but still adjusting the camber, castor and toe-in...

In the front wheel arches, where the front shocks bolt onto the hub of the car, there are 2 bolts which hold this in place.
The cup suspension pack has a different distance between these 2 bolts compared with a non cup'd 182.
