I kinda agree with you in a way... But then I kinda dont.
Yeh its ok buying a 100 year old 320bhp Jag or whatever - But then you have got to find somewhere to store it (major issue for most people) then you have to think about replacement parts when things go wrong - Faster the car generally...
Its not way out - Its just a tad over the reccomended "levels" thats in the machine...
Like I say I am going to go back sometime next week when the coils have settled and get the rear camber/everything else sorted.
Iv got an understeer issue aswell lol.
^^ Thats unusual! Here are mine:
My rear needs camber shims to get it spot on.
Im going to wait for the coils to settle properly then going to go back and get them adjusted properly.
Nice one Fletch. Just get some wax on there to give them a little bit of protection. Just goes to show a bit of hard work and persistance makes a massive difference!
LOL. You probably just got a shite one :) Mines an 04 plate and the box still feels 'tight' (Yes, even for a clio!)... Fletchers 172 is also on 111k IIRC? And he is still on the original box + clutch... Yours must have been raped during its lifetime.
Take it to a body shop. They will blow it in easy. Wont even be THAT expensive... Although its still a shitter your gonna have to pay out yourself. No point in getting insurance involved.
Fletch you dont need a PC at all. Get some 1200 wet and dry, blast it with that... Then get some 1500 wet and dry, blast it with that... Then get some abrahsive polish (3m stuff/scratch X) then feel the burn ;) Cos your gonna need to rub it like a mo fo.
