Was going with NU but the RAC undercut them by about £50 for me. Their worth checking out if you haven't already.
Everyone else I tried wanted £1.4k+.
Payed £940, 18 1ncb.
Yeh as far as I can see the only bad things it'll do is suck in hot air, though a cold air feed to the original location or elsewhere would sort that out, I can't see it causing any problems and there is the ace noise bonus.
You could actually take the plenum off and put the feed straight to the filter housing it connects too if you could work out how to get around the air filter housing being oval. Sounds the dogs danglys with the plenum off as i've tried it and . Am thinking about getting some ducting and...
I used to have a 1.2 16v Dynamique, which is essentially the same car.
Mine was fine for the 10months or so I had it, never had any problems wasn't too slow for a 1.2. Only sold it because I bought a 1.6.
edit: 100% Agree with the above too.
Anybody used them for alloy repair?, got me a set of mk2 ph3 alloys last week and they've got a few minor scrapes on them I wouldn't mind sorting as long as it doesn't cost the earth.
Just wondering if anyones used them and how the found them generally and the quality or the job and price ?
Drive, its only a clio in the end, most people won't give it a second glance and think its a 1.2 anyway.
Still think about where I park it when i'm out and about though.
Apparently when you have the windscreen replaced then you need a new gel pack in the sensor, did it have one done ?
I'd probably just take it back under warrenty and say its not working if it hasn't.
The cups have the different blue interior bits than the normal full fat 172s, just to match the exterior as there only avaliable in mondial blue and silver.
The front splitters were fitted at the dealer and sometimes they didn't bother, most people probably wouldn't know it was missing or was supposed to have one. So thats probably why its missing.
Could be a bust mount but its probably just due to the fact that the mounts are made from jelly, i'm old 1.2 used to do it terribly even though all the mounts were fine.
So you can use the sport clocks and they work fine even though the scales are different ?
Wondered because a sport interior is on my list and the dials will just finish it off nicely.
Apparently the Maxim has a closer ratio box than the RT and a few other little things, read something exactly about this somewhere a few days ago.

Tells you the differences there, need to be...
Not totally clued up on how it works but it could possibly be getting stuck open making the mixture too rich producing said misfire, not sure if the fumes would richen it up enough though.
Been there done that, you can see them look and think pah 1.2 i'll have this easy, thanks mr 1.6 civic sport, put a smile on my face for about a week after.
Well i've been driving it like a girl then :o, with the extra poke over the 1.2 I don't feel the need to cane it so much I guess. And that 75% is country lanes so just cruising at 60 for most of it, not a lot of stop/start town driving.
Not sure with the alarm as I haven't got one, if it causes any issues I would imagine theres something in the manual about it if not i'm sure someone on here knows.
Should be ok I would have thought as its just the standard renault fit cobra jobbie.
Its the fuel rail cover, there are nuts in the holes that will need tightening. You'll need a 13mm socket and a 3" extension to get to them, they'll have taken it off to get to the oil filter more easily.
Sounds like it gone into limp mode with the high idle, somethings possibly got wet. I'd try disconnecting the battery and leaving it for a few hours to dry out, then try again.
