Right, photoshop away please people!
Added some photos that might help, hope Russ doesnt mind me borrowing the pics of his car!
Could someone do the wheels in racing blue, dark blue, red, orange, green, yellow please?
Also once on can it be made to sit the arches just above the tyres, incase...
Bought these 15's for my 182:
The car now has H&R's so will sit very nicely when i fit them. Originally I bought them just for track wheels but decided to run them on the road so I'm thinking that maybe my plan of Kawasaki green will be a bit over the top, although I really want them...
I could give it a go sometime if you wanted mate.
If its a small job then I won't charge you, chances are i might be doing mine this weekend if it is dry, so if you are free drop me a pm.
Hmm...I can't help thinking I wouldnt notice, as the sidewalls are similar heights to what the normal 16's have....plus to be honest i would want to keep the speedo as accurate as possible, and also the main reason for 15's is purely for cheapness and lightweightness!
Maybe if I got another...
Yeah they are different, but exactly what I want.
Looks wise isnt too important to me as long as it isnt offensive, so all good!
Haha, i've said I will mate just drop me a pm!
I could even PC it for you if you want, make it look a bit tidier? ;)
I'll see how 50's go, can always get some 45's if I feel an improvement could be made, hopefully I'll hammer the fronts quite quickly if I can get on track a lot :D
45's are £70 a tyre though, not wanting to spend that much on them for no real reason if you knwo what I mean!
Plus it will keep the speedo roughly right getting the 50's.
I'm 19, 2NCB with my 182, on a modified policy I pay £1800 everything covered with a £600 excess.
To be honest, after realising how much I have spent I would prefer to have my mint 1.2 dynamique back and £5k in the bank, but thats not to say I regret buying the car, wanted one for as long as i...
Gotta say I hate it, and think it is well too internet geeky. Fair enough it's your car etc, but no-one will know what the hell it means, and explaining it is gonna be well sad. Only one of my mates know I go on car forums, but thats cool cos he likes cars as much as me so does the same thing...
I want those wheels!!!
Need to save up though, get some pics up of them fitted!
Personally, I would go for the lower offset and not bother with spacers, but thats just me. Spacers are obviously safe but I would just prefer to not use them if possible.
No probs mate.
I see your point, but it is only a few mm, maybe not enough to make you feel a difference but I wouldnt go higher than the std offset purely incase you get rubbing on the inside of the arch/on the shock.
Technically it will put more stress on the hub, but withg the wheel being...
The clio centre bore is 60.1mm, so you can run spigot rings to take it down to that, so no probs there.
I would go for ET34, as they will give you a slightly wider track and no issues on rubbing on the rear shocks.
If you plan to run 195/50's then they are roughly 14mm in diameter smaller...
Rob, next time you have a wheel off any chance you wanna take a few pics for me?!
How does the offset differ from your turinis to the cup wheels though, that might be part of it?
Haha!
The catching worries me though! So need to get that problem sorted, then I'll look at going lower! Should have some 15's soon so then i'll be able to sort it all out properly!
I'll fit them if you want mate?
Wouldn't take long.
Well I've filed some back, if my dad is home tomorrow i'll nick his grinder and use that to get them all the way back or something!
I've cut the archliner away Rob like we did on yours, so it's only the bracket thats hitting!
Flux don't charge extra for non performance mods mate, so your coilovers, wheels, cage, buckets etc should all be free of charge.
Modified policies with them are cheaper than standard policies too!
Edit, just seen you have tried flux...seems wierd that they will charge you for it, i might...
Well I can adjust it myself, but got no idea what it is set at, think its the kind of thing that you need training in to do properly. Although I think i've set it not too far off, drives and brakes straight, just needs the toe-in sorting and camber checking etc.
On another point, I have just...
It's still got the nut thing on the rear assembly, and about 10mm between the bottom of the platform and the trailing arm, but i'm quite happy with how it sits to be honest.
Not sorted the rubbing no, its gonna eat through the arch liner pretty quickly I think, gonna get it in the air tomorrow...
