Got the aux belt changed, was 3 years old, and got the 32k service done on it too. I think the mileage was right, can't remember!
Yeah the damage made me think people wouldn't offer much, must have had 100 calls in a week but sold it the night after I advertised it to the first viewer!
To be...
I sold my black 1.2 dynamique, 28k miles, was an 04 plate, just had a service and aux belt, FSH, loads of tax and test etc.
Was mint apart from a scuff on the bumper and a small dent in the door.
I sold it 6 months ish ago for £3700, and by all of the calls etc that I got for it I priced it...
I fricking love that mate, looks a very well cared for car!
They Weitecs on it?
Had them on my Lupo, very impressed with them!
You not get any catching in the wheel arches at that low?
Only question I have if the above is a 'no' ; why the hell was the car so high in the first place?! ;)
Didn't really consider these too much, even said I wouldn't buy the in another thread!!
But would they be reccomended?
Will they be better to drive with compared with 195 50's?
I know they'll help me to go lower, but I want my car to be all about handling really, bearing in mind the roads I...
Hmm, I'm gonna get birchdown to fit me some braided hoses, and also bleed the brakes i think, i'm guessing i may aswell get it all done at the same time then it should all be sorted.
Cheers mate, will an adjustment do it or is a new cable the best way to go?
Had my 1.2 adjusted once but withing a few days iut had mega travel again on the the handbrake lever...
My handbrake is pretty rubbish, so wondering if I need new cables fitting, or if it just needs adjustment?
Car has done 36k miles.
Also, anyone know how much new cables are? And roughly how much fitting would be?
Form over function ladies.
And as said, if I don't like the look with red wheels, I can always try green, orange, blue and pink before I go to the normal black or anthracite.
Lol, cheers!
Well the red will just be an experiment to be honest, won't be hard for me to spray them back a 'normal' colour if it doesnt suit.
I want the 15's for track work and cheaper tyres, so 100% going on!
Plus it needs to go lower, which will help with the 15's :D
Standard wheel is roughly 18kg with tyre. Tyre weighs in at about 6kg, making the wheel roughly 12kgs.
New wheels are about 6kgs each, then 5kg for a smaller tyre makes that about 6kg saving per wheel.
Stripped the interior of the 182 out today getting ready for a big load of wheels and tyres to be done next week. Weighed everything taken out, was 30kgs of stuff, then the wheels should save me a further 25kgs once they are on, the H&Rs work out to about 5kgs saved too i think.
Then when I...
I see your point but it is modified. Got h&rs on it, then the wheels. Will be stripped with buckets probably next year.
As I said before, if it looks rubbish then I'll just spray them again!
boosh I ducking love you!
If the colour gets boring then I can easily spray them something less offensive in a few hours.
In a way I regret buying a boring silver car, I want something a bit more in your face and obvious, like a racing blue or inferno!
I'm gonna try green first I think :D
Hardly ever use my G220, so thinking of selling it once I have given my car a quick go over with it.
Perfect condition, still in the hard case with all the bits. Also comes with the following:
4 pads, SFX1, 2 and 3, one of each, and then an extra of one grade, cant remember which at the...
