Yeah you're right Welsh, i did the same thing, bought an extra wheel as a spare.

I don't bother turning it off unless I know I'm gonna push the car, not that it makes any difference anyways. Everytime i forget to turn it off and it cuts in I get angrier about not buying a 172 cup!

The 36k on my 182 at Renault, including Aux belt was £350ish about 4/5 months ago if thats any help? Seems very high!

I paid £1800 on my 1.2 at 17, then £1100 on it modified at 18, then £1300 on my Lupo Gti at 19, but bumped up to £1800 when I bought the 182. Wish I kept my 1.2 to be honest, renewal way £490 at 19 with 2NCB!

Hence why they have a 6 speed gearbox with lower ratios, helps haul the higher wieght along at a very similar speed. They wouldnt make the 197 slower than the previous model 182, but also no faster as thats where the Megane comes in.

I always start the car and leave it for about a minute, sort my phone out etc, before getting going, helps a lot but can still feel it for a few minutes. Mate was having a similar thing with his 197, got the dealer to do the cold start fix thing on it and says its miles better, not available...

I'm using AP Racing fluid (demon tweeks stuff, about £5 per 500ml bottle i think) it's dot 5.1 but i never bought it for that reason, more the high boiling point.

Thats easy money there, sell the wheels and strip it for parts then scrap the shell, if I had the cash to hand I would do it no problems.

The set i refurbed for my 1.2, paid £80 for them, sprayed them roughly and sold them on for £320 without tyres! That was a random offer too, never had them up for sale!
