I don't bother turning it off unless I know I'm gonna push the car, not that it makes any difference anyways.
Everytime i forget to turn it off and it cuts in I get angrier about not buying a 172 cup!
Off for me, I find on the limit when I go too far, I've already corrected it myself, then the TC kicks in and sends me the opposite way. Seems very delayed.
It's good for someone like my mum, but for anyone who knows a few things about car control I think it's a bit rubbish really. Makes a...
I paid £1800 on my 1.2 at 17, then £1100 on it modified at 18, then £1300 on my Lupo Gti at 19, but bumped up to £1800 when I bought the 182.
Wish I kept my 1.2 to be honest, renewal way £490 at 19 with 2NCB!
Can't seem to find it, but I am pretty basic on computers....it's on Vista.
18tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo i went to empty it but clicked on delete by accident, then entered as i was reading it saying delete and not empty, oops!
Hence why they have a 6 speed gearbox with lower ratios, helps haul the higher wieght along at a very similar speed.
They wouldnt make the 197 slower than the previous model 182, but also no faster as thats where the Megane comes in.
I always start the car and leave it for about a minute, sort my phone out etc, before getting going, helps a lot but can still feel it for a few minutes.
Mate was having a similar thing with his 197, got the dealer to do the cold start fix thing on it and says its miles better, not available...
I'm using AP Racing fluid (demon tweeks stuff, about £5 per 500ml bottle i think) it's dot 5.1 but i never bought it for that reason, more the high boiling point.
^ Suppose it depends on driving mate, I don't do many miles so doesnt really affect me, but on the odd motorway trip it is a bit wierd.
Although, the handling is awesome, so well worth a bit of inner edge wear etc!
Doesnt seem like much front camber? I'm running -ve 2.5 on the front of mine.
Not sure what my rear camber is as a pro place didnt set it up for me it was a ex clio cup mechanic as a back hander, but been told about -ve 1 on the back is a good set up.
Good news is if you take it to more...
Wheels £300?
Front lights £40
Rears £30
Interior £250
Bumpers £90?
Wings/skirts £150?
Bonnet £70?
Not far off a grand there already? Should be able to make a few hundred, then scrap the shell for £150 too?
Never done it so not 100% sure, but must be money there.
Not far from me either.....hmm!
The set i refurbed for my 1.2, paid £80 for them, sprayed them roughly and sold them on for £320 without tyres! That was a random offer too, never had them up for sale!
