I've not asked, but I wouldnt drive it even if he let me, not worth the risk for him or me, he would get done for it as well as me without insurance.
Not sure what to do, might go to Renault and test drive a 182 just to make sure, and then just get taken out in the one i want. Gay!
I need to test drive a car, but I'm not 21 so cannot use day insure.
I'm insured with Flux but they won't give me a temporary policy or anything like that.
Anyone got any ideas?
Anyone know if he is still selling his car?!
I want it badly and can't wait until tomorrow to ring and find out!

^ Worth a try I suppose.
Say £2.5k is closer to the money?
Obviously this is all on assuming it is a fully serviced car in good mechanical order etc that is HPI clear.

Now I know, I...
I had my dynamique for 2 years, and it failed to start once in all that time!
Unsure what the fault was, left it for an hour and then it started again like normal!
(Lupo failed me when I went to pick it up, immobilizer in the key went!)
Thats at Birchdown.
I think the genuine parts bump the price up, but taking that into account along with the insurance hike leaves me with the £1100 in the bank, so its all cool.
Done 65k I think. Fairly high, but I don't do a whole lot of miles myself so doesn't worry me too much in all honesty.
72k service including cambelt, aux belt, plugs and oil flush using genuine Renault parts = £700!!!
It was RR'd at 189bhp before the matched inlets were put on, but I don't think it is anywhere near that high as the only thing it could have are cams, but theres no reciepts in any of the paperwork for that and there are receipts for everything else so doubt it.
It is nice, sounds amazing and...
Right, been a few of these threads from me, but this is a new situation!
Been offered a decent price for the Lupo, I would have declined but just been offered my mates one for a very good price as he needs a quick sale...
So, with selling the Lupo, and then buying the 172, extra insurance...
Yeah it must be them two.
It's actually a good replica bodywork wise, bar the exhaust, lowering, and wheels/offset.
The other car would be the 172 but a bit of a 182 replica.
