In all fairness Ferrari owners tend to take very good care of them! The interior quality isn't brilliant, even in the 599. The lambo's have a better build quality, as do Porsche.

182 32mpg. 172 35mpg. I've owned 2 of each, that's over approx 50k miles in each. Ph1 172 is 32mpg.

Afaik btm can supply all bar ast. Based near Birmingham airport. Ast are based at powerstation Tewkesbury.

If you want decent stuff, I'd budget up to £1500 for supply/fitting/setup. Will probably be less. If you can get up to Birmingham on Friday I'll take you out in my 172 (on kw v2's with a whiteline arb).

Budget? Your looking at £800 as a starting point for decent (h&r/kw/bilstein/ast). I don't like the ast kit, but it's a very personal thing, so I'd advise trying to drive as many of the kits as possible (or at least a passenger ride) before buying.

Having owned both, get a 172 in flame red or monaco blue. Ideally a late on with cruise.
