Wheel arch liners .... Do I need them?

That's good then. Plenty to be saved there then, probably the equivalent of 12L of fuel in weight.

Wheel arch liners .... Do I need them?

@GrahamV182 do you still have to keep the interior carpet? If you do, you could in theory remove the carpet and take out the sound deadening tar panels on the floor and then refit the carpet. There's a good few kg there.

Wheel arch liners .... Do I need them?

Could get a pic of the 'guard' i made on Sunday when i do my brakes. Basically it mounts to that subframe brace bar and folds under the subframe. Just stops anything flying up and hitting the aux belt really.

Wheel arch liners .... Do I need them?

My xenons are still working somehow ? My horn has packed up though. I fashioned an aluminium sheet to protect the aux belt/pulleys.

    182 Alarm LED on solid

Not entirely sure, but i'd imagine it goes to the uch and fusebox and then to the alarm siren under the wiper scuttle panel.

    Mysterious Clicking UCH

For a while now I get the odd clicking sound from the UCH/relays, a bit like if you were to activate the wipers for one cycle. I doesn't do it all the time either. I did think it was linked to my rear wiper which started having a mind of its own when i turned the ignition on, so i pulled the...

Wouldn’t use them just for a road car tbh, pretty dusty. I’d just get oem stuff from George, fine for the road.

Yeah that's right. I usually give it a quick snow foam again after the tar remover, don't want that sitting on panels and gaps.

Manual Tyre changer- bead breaker for DIY use?

One of the lads at Demon Tweeks struggled to get my Dunlop track tyres off with an all singing all dancing new machine. Wouldn't like to try it with a manual jobbie.

Manual Tyre changer- bead breaker for DIY use?

It will need balancing, believe it or not tyres aren't perfectly round. Neither do they weigh the same all the way round either. That's why you see the yellow and red dots marked on tyre sidewalls. Yellow dot is the lightest part of the tyre, red dot is the highest spot of radial run out (how...
