I use Triple QX 5w40 from Euro ? It's RN700/710 spec so it's good enough for me. About £18 for 5L Regular changes with a cheaper oil is better than leaving a decent brand in for longer, IMO of course.

I doubt many use 5w50, not that common of a grade. 10w50 is the usual next grade up. A thicker oil is just masking the problem though i think, you're better to look into why it's using it in the first place and go from there.

Yeah, mine does 5k a year including a few track days. I probably top up no more than 200ml over the year.

How loud do you think it is? My Milltek with only the back boxes, so straight through, is around 95-98dB.

Need to put a washer over it first. I used one from the ktec gearbox mount that didn't seem needed.

The lower angle should help with the IR reflection at night on number plates too.

Mine is actually the Meguiars Body Solvent bottle, not that it should make any difference. Must have had it 8 years now.

Standard bottle with the grey chemical head. Mine has been in the bottle for years and nothing has melted with Tardis inside it.

He said he can find 2nd gear when the engine is off. Clutch or release bearing issue i'd say.
