It's sleeved you say ? So can the exhaust be adjusted , as in pushed further back so it's not sticking out as much ? Like I said , I wouldn't bother with the decat in the first place , they don't give any extra performance , just noise . I took mine off and sold it cos I couldn't be arsed...
First of all , the decat does sweet FA , other than increase the exhaust noise . Then you're gonna have the hassle of swapping it back come MOT time . As said above , that putty will crack and drop off in next to no time . I'll put money on that clamp working loose too . As for the tail pipes...
I googled the part number and its says it's a Renault Clio, Megane , Kangoo , Qashqai 1.5DCI brake vacuum pump

Seems like alot of faffing about to me . I just made a carboard template from the old pedals , cut some some new ones out from some 2.5mm aluminium sheet , drilled the holes and pop rivetted them on . Cost me a couple of quid
I don't know what you're problem is , it could be umpteen things . Without hearing / seeing what it's like it'll be pretty hard to diagnose from your description .
As for doing 30mph in 5th gear , my 182 does that easily on the flat without feeling like it's going to stall.
Alright Niall .
I had a problem with my air con pipes . I noticed it wasn't getting cold anymore . So I took it to be regassed only to be told that 2 pipes had been rubbing together . On closer inspection it turned out it was just 1 pipe that that was doubled back on itself in a U shape . When I...
Maybe try fitting Brand New ABS rings ?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-CLIO-SPORT-182-REAR-ABS-RING-REAR-ABS-RELUCTOR-RING-03-05-/130604352304?hash=item1e68a04330:g:DToAAOSwDuJWuE-f
But tbh , you'd have probably been better of buying discs with the rings already fitted. And don't forget to...
I'm on my 4th set of Rainsport 3's XL . I don't find any problem with the sidewalls, you get used to the different feel. They stick like s**t to a blanket in the wet ( it rains hell of alot whereI live) , but the wear rate isn't the best . Just changed the fronts after 6300 miles :openmouth: It's...
Nice one . Sounds like a result . I'm not really clued up about aerials or audio. Has it got some stubby type of aerial ? Some people change them for the short Honda civic type of aerial . It might actually be the base of the aerial...
So you've bought it and had the belts done ?
Parts as in a new aerial or parts in general ?
Some parts like engine mounts off ebay , thats if it needs them.
For brakes George on here is the usual go to guy on here . @George@RTR_Parts
Other parts in the for sale section or Renaultpartsdirect ...
Diamond motors isn't that far away from you. I've travelled a 6 hour round trip a few times to see Mick and it was worth it.

I'm agreement with @imprezaworks . With belts done and proof and looking at the condition from the pics £3k . Prices have been on the up lately for some reason.
Like I said earlier . If it was me I'd offer £2200 . If they're desperate to sell they might accept it , or meet you half way at least . If you're planning on keeping it for a long time then it's worth putting a few quid into it like getting the belts done just for peace of mind .
It's had a few...
Take a mate with ya cos he'll probably see things you don't or maybe ask questions you don't . But don't take a female cos she'll just like it for the colour
It's got the cloth interior opposed to the leather / alcantara of a " full fat " 182 . Plus normal headlights not HID's . Also no climate control which isn't a big deal really .
Like mossyv6 says . It'll need the belts doing so factor about £600 for that .
It does look a nice car though , good...
Looks a very tidy example . Personally I think it's a little strong money considering its the poverty spec 182 , no proof of belts and no mention of having a 2nd key . Offer him £2200 and see what he says . If you don't ask you don't get :tonguewink:
182's are the same as 172's handbrake cables afaik.
Only £58.75
