I believe you want the rear spring rate a bit more than the fronts for better turn in/reduced understeer on a fwd car. Say 7kg front, 8kg rear.

Designed to work at a certain pressure with a set spring rate. A major change to the spring rate and it'll effect the dampening and possibly blow the seals of the shock.

You would probably get away with it for 7/8kg springs, but after that it would be worthwhile getting them revalved.

So let's say your budget is £4-5k.

As standard i think it's something like 80/20 braking, so you are relying on your front brakes to do most of the work. When it's at 50/50 the effort is now shared, so if you had some decent pads also in the rear, then in theory you should be able to stop quicker with the slight downside of it...

BC's with the harder spring rate if it's for track.

Dual mass flywheel are w**k on these.

They get heavier as they get older. Mine is on 92k on the original clutch and it's heavy. I'm having a new one fitted soon along with a new gearbox with a diff in. I'm expecting it to be lighter than it is now, but i won't worry if it's the same as i like the feel of it tbh.

Don't remove the fuse. It makes the bias 50/50 iirc, you'll swap ends under high speed heavy braking.
