    Your most beneficial track modification

Tuition > Tyres > Brakes > Suspension. Although adding a diff will be well up there with the best, once it's fitted.

Warning light after trackday - suggestions please

It will be emissions/cat/lambda related. The rattle noise does sound similar to strings of rubber hitting the rear arches as they're peeling off. Is it from the rear?

Clio 182 pro race 1.2s fitment

The ktec 182 championship ones will be 60.1mm so that they don't require spigot rings and are stamped for the series. I'm guessing you'd need proof of being in the championship to get them at their discounted price.

    182 cylinder head rocker cover

No. They are also matched to the head they come with i believe. I'm sure you could use one from another head though, @bloke?

    Niall's BG 182

Yeah i doubt the old one was tight enough/torqued really. Goes to show how much torque you can apply when using a torque wrench compared to using the 1/2" ratchet. Did it up with the ratchet and it felt tight, put the torque wrench on and got a few turns on it.

That upper gearbox mount just lifted off, i've never had that happen. Usually require a tap with a hammer.

There's always something with this car. Everything is going well, then bang! Something doesn't play ball. It was 21Nm for those smaller nuts mate, not 12Nm.

    Alternator and Aux Belt change

Yeah 110amp for the 182 with A/C. Don't scrimp on alternators, you'll just end up changing it again in 6 months if it's a cheap one. New Valeo one only in my opinion.

Wheel studs - how much thread is needed?

Until all the threads on the hub are engaged, i.e the thickness of the hub. Roughly 12mm i think.

Bit late, but i've got the chemical guys MF wash and it's 30ml for small loads and 60ml for heavy. They come out great afterwards.

    Machine Polishing

I'd go with the Rupes LHR15 Mk2 over the Flex tbh. It's a bit more money, but a better machine in terms of cutting i think. The only downside is you'll need a smaller machine with a smaller backing plate to reach the finer areas.

I thought Techno Violet, but he said it wasn't... Edit. After a quick search, i was right. Only 15 RHD in that colour too and his is a track car :hushed:
