+1 Economy was the last thing on the list when i bought my first 172 then my 182 . Get yourself a Golf tdi or summat similar if your afraid of the fuel bills . On long motorway trips with the trip computer reset and the cruise control set at around 75 mph i have seen 34 ish mpg on the flat .

Can't fault mine , love the sound , it looks and feels quality , you just know it's gonna last . Plus i got mine directly off Fred a couple of years ago i didn't pay anywhere near K-Tecs price ;)

It all depends how heavy your right foot is . I'll put money on it there's nothing wrong with your lambda sensor . I only ever see 26mpg on average in my 182 cos i do lots of short trips and thats from new , same with my old 172 26mpg and that was new when i bought that too .

Nobody ever said that Autoglym products are the be all and end all of products . Like you say , they do make some good products and some which aren't quite as good as the competitors . And i'm sure Gally is a smashing chap with lots of friendly helpful advice . Thats not actually the issue here...

Your right mate . The second sensor in the Cat is just to show the Cats working , it's the PreCat sensor that deals wth the fuelling etc ... You'll still need a Cat come MOT time cos it won't pass with a Decat thats for sure .
