    GoPro Mounting

Use Ali tube rather than steel, it's a bit lighter and easier to drill.

    GoPro Mounting

@dann2707 This is my bar mount. That help? It mounts between the two seats using one headrest post off each, but the same could be used to mount it off one seat using both it's headrest posts.

    GoPro Mounting

Either there or on the rear X bars, Cub.
  5. Mr Trailer Man

    GoPro Mounting

That's decent. I'm at Oulton on Saturday, so I might put the bar on tonight and take a pic.

    GoPro Mounting

I'll get a pic tonight. Where's your track day at?

    GoPro Mounting

I use the u-bolts to clamp around the two headrest posts, with two holes on each side going through the 25mm round bar and wingnuts to secure it. I think it's a lot more stable than the headrest posts slotting through the bar itself.

    GoPro Mounting

How much! :openmouth: Some 25mm round tube, 2 U-bolts, 4 wing nuts, GoPro handlebar mount. Done I'll get a pic of mine if anyone is interested?

    Coilovers and arches rubbing

I'd have a good look over it first before buying any.

    Coilovers and arches rubbing

If it's catching on something inside the arch yes, spacers probably would help. 5mm or 10mm would sort it if that is the problem.
  14. Mr Trailer Man

    Coilovers and arches rubbing

Are there any visible signs as to where it is rubbing? You might be able to see some wear on the tyre indicating the location of the rubbing.
  15. Mr Trailer Man

    Temp sensor?

It's either been replaced with a faulty thermostat or the coolant hasn't been bled properly, so there could be some air in the system.

    Bonnet won't open..

Yeah that's the bit I mean, the one on the inside. You pull that while someone tries to lift the bonnet up.
  17. Mr Trailer Man

    Bonnet won't open..

You saif you've tried pushing it. Have you tried pulling it or someone pulling it as you lever the release handle?

You can clear cache on the Nexus 5 in the standard bootloader anyway, so no need for an app.

Martin's Track Clio 182 Project Thread

They may do custom ones if you ring them, although like you say 4 minutes is a gnats pube really.

Martin's Track Clio 182 Project Thread

Get the Pure Motorsport shims, they're marked in minutes not mm, so it's easy to work out. They do 10, 20, 30 minute shims for toe. So just stick a 20 on the right side so you end up with 19 left and 15 right. I've just bought a 20 minute shim as mine is pretty much like yours on the rear.

    Lollipop Final Release

    I've got a Nexus 5 and haven't even got 5.1 yet.

    wheel bearings

They probably haven't fitted the spacer behind the disc (deflector i think it's called) or torqued the hub nut up properly. Should get more than 10k out of them.

Deposits on Brake Discs After Track Day

RC5's are good for upto 800-1000 degrees i'm sure. I doubt you've got them that hot.
  28. Mr Trailer Man

    Old pads new Disc's??

Doubt you've warped a disc mate, it's pretty hard to do that. Could the pad be seized in the caliper, there should be a bit of vertical movement between the pad and the carrier and not wedged in tight.
