Cloud storage - Who to use? 1TB+

Even a NAS would be overkill for what I need, however storage at home isn't safe enough imo. The data I want to back up could still easily be lost through fire, theft etc. I need safe and secure, with as little chance as possible of losing anything.

Ahh, makes sense now. I was thinking you wanted it for security. Anyway, it's perfectly do-able. You just need to be sure what's in the box before picking up any other items. Is 18m going ot be enough cable? Is the plan to run it externally?

Cloud storage - Who to use? 1TB+

Sorry - I forgot i'd made this thread. The Office 365 looks like it could be a winner. 1TB for £7.99/m inc Office seems a good deal. 1TB would be plenty of storage anyway, I can't see me needing more anytime soon and 1TB is going to take long enough to upload!

    CCTV camera

Probably best just to go and look what's in the box. Personally I think it'll have an 18m siamese cable but no power supply. It'll see in the dark, that's what the IR LED's are for. It'll be black & white, and fairly short range (8m it says, so probably not as far as that in real life). It's...

    CCTV camera

As far as I can see it comes with this type of cable (but 18m not 30m) http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/smart-tech/smart-tech/smart-home/smart-home-cameras-and-cctv/sea-c101-bnc-power-cable-for-samsung-cameras-10071943-pdt.html Which is a siamese type cable, so has a BNC and power cable...

    CCTV camera

You shouldn't need the first one, it comes with an 18m bnc cable. It's just the power supply I'm not sure on. I can't seem to find a definitive answer what it is actually supplied with. Does your local Currys have it in stock?

    CCTV camera

You'll need a BNC cable converter (BNC to RCA?), and some form of power supply I would think. it's intended for use with a DVR really.

Link to the camera? I have a cheap one from eBuyer - currently being used as a baby monitor. It's wifi, and have an app on my iPhone, iPad and on the PC so I can view and remotely control/move it. It was £35.

    Spacers help!!

Yes - the link you have is for spiggot rings, not spacers. What width spacers are you looking for, i'm sure one of us can find you the right thing if you let us know what you are trying to achieve.

    Lower arms

For a race car, or dedicated track car maybe. A road car no chance. Rose joints aren't a great idea for day to day use.

    Clio 182 No 5k kick??

How much fuel did you put in from Sainsburys? You 've done well to run it down in less than an hour, unless you put a tenner in. Does anyone even do that anymore? A tenner gets me about 40 miles!

    Good quality, breathable car covers?

As above, unless spending hundreds of pounds, it'll make things worse. Either wait until you get back for the detail, or just leave it in the elements. It's a car, it won't melt if it gets wet.

    SORN Advice

But what you've learned is incorrect! It r mains sorn until it is TAXED again, nothing to do with insurance. You can have a car insured but not taxed.

    S40 T5 sleeper project

Fitted the rear shocks yesterday (as well as replace the pads that were down to the metal) Rear pads lasted 70k though, so can't complain really! Monday is the big day - Front shocks, bottom arms and top mounts to go on.

You aren't. Your speed test proves 100+mb is making it to your device.

    Virgin Media 152mb problem

Only any good if you know the username and password to the router, anyone with sense would have changed that in a student house.

    Virgin Media 152mb problem

Well that sounds more like the device you are using is at fault then. If you can get a 119mb/s on a speed test, that shows you are getting a decent connection. If stuff is taking an age to open/run then you have another issue. What are you using? A laptop, tablet, phone?

Cloud storage - Who to use? 1TB+

So, i'm in need of some cloud storage, mainly to back up important docs, photos, wedding pics and videos etc. Would be good for something multi platform, Windows PC and iPhones mainly. 1TB should cover it, but happy to have more. I was going to put a couple of 2TB HDD in my current PC in...
