They will work though just AFR isn't ideal and engine isn't adjusted for them ECU wise stock ECU is fine its the mapping.
Stand alone ECU is needed for some cams.
Sicne you've no warnenty to fall back on I'd get it chnaged at 60k or 4 years whatevers earlier 72k and 5 years is about the point they can start to go I know a load have gone just before then and Renault don't payout enough goodwill if anyhting..
Pmurry on here does remapping for a decient price and IMo in the country there not much choice I don't rate superchips that hightly but it has a good warently etc.
There no idea time to buy milage wise cna find a careful treated one moe trouble than a hammered one. a 150k better than a 30k one.
Don't forget service time 60k it near cambelt (idealy IMO should have it doen at 60k/4years).
I've got a videos of Roamers car on the RR somewhere on the PC but idealy should have his permission to put it on you tube etc (Fred any chance you can ask him)
Kit car project I take it?
IMobiliser can be got round do a serach there a few compnaies now offering imobiliser removal so you don't have one on the EUC andk hot wiring will start it. But no insurance then.
You won't get enough most lilky ever to do a full project jobbie on the engine.
ANd for the gains its just not worth it bigger cc is much better.
Bin the 8V head 16v for starters anyway its a straight bolt on.
Cams have been done for best power you'd want some custom grinds from...
Easy to chnage the hoses problem is you have to rebleed the whole brake system and with new fluid do that the expensive buit £40 again most lilky still £40 for bleeding the brakes assumin gits good fluid and fitting front lines is a good price.
Nothing much difference wise.
The 80 has an intercooler (FMIC) bigger injectors, different gearbox (JC5 instead of JB3) also differetn mapping turbso is the same 0.1 bar more boost and differetn actuator but nothing majour.
100 has stronger bottom end bigger connecting rods bearings etc different injectoes 1600 bar bump...
I along with a few others don't rate the box itsn not nice to use.
a 65 is about as quick as a 1.2 you'd be superised it feels at lower rpm like a 1.6 or so.
Usualy the 80 a bit better on fuel as its slightly longer geared nothging huge though. They do get a premium though price wise.

The body shells are the same so no problem with it fitting one or the other car.
Personaly I woulnd't bother a decinet one needs to be good and strong and welded or properly bolted in to make a difference.
