    It can be done yep just leave it though tidy up as much as you can to much effort do move the dash with the coolent pipes etc.

    Get someone else to check the car over ie RAC etc. Check for damage also check all it works and rattles etc are minimal (sunroof will creak)

    There very reliable sure they have week points but noone starts a topic up saying there cars fine you only ever read problems on here. As for insurance depends I got £3k quotes at 20ish whereas other in similar circumstances (NCB area etc) were paying £1k.

    I know of a few old 1.2 type cars with well over 100k on them and there fine Oms old 1.2 had 180k on it. I've just been in a 1.2 today with 116k on it sounds just like any other 1.2 does.

    BenR the technical expert but its just the cams and the intake manifold etc all hit a sort of jump point of efficiency over a small rpm range.

    Copper and rubber one is about 24mm diameter 17mm inside diameter.about 1.45mm thick at the metal bit Copper 22mm diamter outside 16mm inside 2mm thick.

    4WD possible?

    There already been two 4x4 Clio Mk1's done using Escort Cosworth running gear No point for the effort FWD still has the grip plus people who make drag racers who would do this sort of things want the FWD raceords not 4x4 ones otherwsie they'd start with the 4x4 car.

    900 maybe. Seats ok fair old saving there say 30kg. Interier well say a decinet job 90kg Carbon won't save much weight 8kg at most I'd think.

    Easily doable. Could even keep the normal Clio engine use the Kangoo 4x4 box and rear etc.

    I've no idea why they fiddled with the sensor there no need to on the Mk2's though the sensor is none adjustable the Mk1's have a sensor which can be adjuted Your right the only fix is a new sensor or to tape the pedal up a bit for the size.

    Swop the wheels round (left to right if you can) and try agaian then try on the other side of the road if its afe to do so road camber even so slight can make a difference.

    145 is about right at the wheels 170 at the wheels would be near 200 at the fly. Intake manifold working next and a remap.

    When you see the cost 72k and 5 years you'd think is to often. I diasagree but thats each to there own I know loads of owners who chnage the oil ever 6k see the benefits.

    Renault don't car so long as the car lasts the time its needed to for warently claims after that so what owners will sell up anyway on the whole. Renault say what they want to say. There warently department say they cannot have longer than x amount of time as if there left longer than that...

    This is why Cup racers are all LHD ballances weight better. Your calipers were bled weren't they?

    Yep I know a few people did send the uinits off to Germany to a bloke who advertises on ebay. £60 or so he charges.

    172 Cup Dampers on a 172 FF

    Springs and shocks are different cup to normal 172. No huge change few could tell the difference.
