Sump p[lug washer should be metyal with a rubber insert. Not the copper one thats for the gearbox and Mk1 cars etc.
Easy to do the filter etc just do it hand tight it up.

£40 to £60 at most motorfactories places (£60 at Halfords). Make sure you get the 259mm one most places don't sell the right ones.
Say 1 hour to fit and 40 minsto bleed the brakes and £10 for somedecient fluid for the brakes might as well get the system bled if your changing both.
Worn disks measure the thickness with a micrometer.
Warper check with a DTI. Unlikly to warp unless you get the brakes very hot and then stop dead and leave your foot on the pedal the pad stick to the disk and make the disk unever.
Stock disk are fine even with harder race pads.
172 and 182 engines only differ with codes the only bit which actually makes any difference is the 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and you cannot use a 172 exjaust with a 182 manifold unless you made a cat up to fit.

Don't bother. Gains are tiny and there no decient gains ones out there.
Decat gives abit more power and response not huge the noise makes you think its more.
Gearbox is longer so on same HP its slower to accelerate (abeitly only slightly) Its the exhat Hp the 182 has makes up for it.
182 has different ECU no difference though its the 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and cat+ exhayst with the different ECU maps made the power nothig else.
