Sensors are £30 or so you can get second hand hubs for £40 though and trying to chnage the sensors is a pain.
Rings well there need pushing back to fit. chack the driveshaft gaiter sfor cracks new ones well IMO its easier to get a hwole new shaft for about £150 but a garage often will just...
COntis are superb on the car they do get less grippy as the tread level falls.
There a better ttyre that 90% of what most peole fit. The car was designed for them.
Looks quite good why not go for a full cage tough do it fully.
Why not strip the rear though for weight and cover it in somehting if you want lighter weight.
Whats the deal with the rear bar does nothing for Clios anyway.
O any car yes on a CTR most definatly there not a car which is often driven slowly etc so get abuse and just like all sporty cars often bought by owners who cannot afford to properly run them so they skip.
Its a change in production about 03 plate to reduce costs (great idea realy) only problem is as sadid it was for the Frence market we have to live with the stupid fix.
Check for somehting catching also check the hub nuts are tight. also chec the driveshaft gaiters.
Wheel bearings gone show up as speeds increase getting louder.
IMO no proof of servicing means its not been done.
I'm even war of stamps in general since there enough copy cat stamps etc or people just stamping books anyway without servicing.
What ages car is it none ABS have rear brake bias valaves working off the ABS system ABS cars don't.
They maybe refering to the calipers on the rear brakes as they can leak and need replacing there only cheap to do though and since this you say has been sorted I'd guess not as is the bias...
Well depends I've known cars never been serviced in there lives so no service would mean I'd way well away unless you'r just after a shell for a different engine etc.
Wouldn't bother me depends how its running.
I know loads of 100k car + cars without any issue often better than low milage cars.
71k isn't huge milage for a 51 plate though.
Jack the car on the rear point and undo the rear shocks to the arm and the whole rear axle drops down and the springs fall out very easy to do.
Fronts are a bit of a bugger no rear space and get something to hold the hub/disk/caliper stright so the driveshaft gaiter isn't damaged. Jut got to...
Different shocks but they will fit and are very similar in setups so you might not even tell.
You should chnage both sides at once realy.
£50 or so each they are.
Have a read here on the spec

21.8mm from memory without looking at the tread for worn disk officialy (new are 24mm).
I'd stick with stock or high carbon.
The crack sensors a common issue and if its been fixed up then Renault won't find the issue.
Just have the new crack sensor fitted £25 for the sensor and the new loom £25 install (you need the new loom with the new sensor) and it will be fine.
The box on the foreign cars is better and stand up more dpends if you disconnect the spark cut how long they last disconnect it and its slightly quicker but damaged the box keep it connected and its very reliable you'd idealy chnage the oil loads anyway so should be fine depending on abuse...
Yopu should always use them.
Once you've done it a bit you'll pick up how to not do it but unless you've done it loads don't bother trying to save a few quid.
