Yep but the calipers are 14 years old so could do with new seals hence why the newer calipers are better since thery have new seals. GSF I think do replacmetn calieprs with new seals for a good price if you want.
259mm disk weren't an option but most 1.2 8V have the smaller disks.
I don't like any fancy looking disks there all rubish from my experiances.
The calipers are different I think thinking about it not hugly uprated like 4 pots etc they should better though. plus if you want to waste some mony they do harder racing spec ie DS2500'/3000/PF97 tye race pads for that...

Nope 172 won't fit without making the brackets making up to fit one option is to chnage the hube then you've got to make the shocks fit not worth the hastle though when stock calipers are more than enough.
You've got the 239mm disks do find a 1.6 16V Mk2 phase 1 or most of the phase 2 Mk2 cars...

Forget tunning IMO as others have said much more to be gained by ligther and better gripping car.
Forget the FSE boost valves waste of time. Lighter car will make up the HP deficit.
Just bin the cards altogether then its ligther again.

Underseal only cheap £20 or less from Halfords for a tun then an old brush to poor it on stick some newspaper down to catch the drips and don't forget to only apply it after you've clened it you don't want to lock water and dirt in realy.
