Is it like an exhaust hitting the heat shield kind of noise? Do you have a standard dogbone mount?

The main feed is the one in the side of the box, in front of the battery, that connects to the acoustic valve. The one from underneath is a secondary feed that connects to nothing, it just sit under the main feed and gets it's air from the front grill. Just get some CAF ducting and make your own.

You do have a hose missing if you're referring to the one on the underside of the box. It's a shorter hose and just sits in the metal bracket next to the battery, the one on the side of the box is the one that connects to the acoustic valve.

As soon as i've loosened them I can use the poxy Renault brace to spin them. How many Nm of torque do they need to tighten them?

Right then, breaker bar and torque wrench tomorrow then. I've just spent £40 quid on torx bits and car supplies today, looks like i'll be spending more tomorrow. lol At least they'll get some decent use in the coming years.

Britannia Tyres in Coventry when the new tyres went on in Jan/Feb. There have been so many little jobs that would have been so much easier if I didn't have to use brute strength with a conventional socket set.

So I tried to take the wheels off today so I can give them a thorough cleaning, but the Renault wheel brace couldn't cut it, it was bending so much it worried me, not to mention the fact that it's so short I can't get any decent leverage. I need some advice on what's the best thing to do the...

Tried to take the wheels off and failed, the little Renault tyre brace couldn't hack it. :dapprove: So to cheer myself up i'm spraying the interior door handles satin black.
