I didn't rate the ITG panel filter at all, when I cleaned my old one I put a Pipercross (K-Tec) filter in it as a stop gap it felt loads better,
even when the ITG was all clean and re-oiled I still thought the Pipercross one was better.
Irrelevant to me now though as i've been running a V6box...
Really enjoyed that, tank slapper sh*t me up a bit I thought the car was getting binned but it was well recovered.
Video moved along well, bits where you're setting up the car, having lunch and standing around waiting were the only slow bits,
but I think they're needed as i'd imagine there is...
There's no error about it mate your car looks good,
so many people try and overdo 1.2s because they try and overcompensate for the small engine,
less is more imo, yours looks spot on. :approve:
I really like the way it looks in this one, alloys look good.
Bit of advice aswell, if you want to post photos directly onto the site (embed)
then open them in photobucket, right click copy directly on the photo, then paste them directly into your thread.
I might have to show this thread to the owner of the studio I work for,
I think alot of the shoots I do could benefit from the odd photo being done like that.
I doubt it, they're media cars supplied by Renault that get raped by every journalist in the land,
worth about £50quid after everyone's had a go with it.
Yep it was cracked and barely hanging on by a lose bolt.
It looks like this.
The other mounts are as you say, upper engine on the left by the cam cover,
and the dogbone right under the car next to the gear linkage.
Well looks like you're going to have to get under the car and check for movement in the tie rods, track rod ends, ball joints and wishbones.
After that it's the dampers and springs.
If there's a clunk when accelerating might be worth checking the gearbox mounts,
you'll need to take the battery...
You must have different square ones where you live, the ones in Coventry are tiny and never touch the inside of my tyres,
the potholes on the other hand could rip a wheel off, they're a far more effective speed restriction. lol
Even at 25mph those square bumps are a nightmare if your wheel hits one.
Bloody things are pointless anyway seeing as they fit perfectly in between most cars wheels,
which means they don't slow anyone down, unless your car's lowered in which case they just rip off your exhaust.
One of the best videos i've seen posted on here in a long time,
beats the sh*t out of a load of ricers standing around in a car park polishing their cars & admiring each others static lows.
I really don't get how so many people say it's easy to get the grill off,
I tried the other day and nearly lost the will to live.
I found it unbelievably hard to get off, i'm just going to mask the front up and spray mine on the car.
