He could fit a few more Clios on his drive, so it's not an obsession untill he's ran out of space and can't cope anymore.
Pretty cool sight tbh.
Ah right ECP it is then, unless I bite the bullet and get the Prima mount.
I'm sick of my stealth exhaust not being stealthy and dangling like an old dogs ballbags. lol
Mines knackered and I want to replace it, I know for £35quid I can get the Prima racing one,
but for a tenner I can get a new standard one off ebay, or £15quid from ECP.
Is it worth me getting one, do they last very long or are they just crap and not worth buying?
This is what i'm thinking of...
Those hill climb cars are awesome, the alloys on the Golf, Escort, BMW & both Pugs are proper nice, as is the rest of the car.
Beach speedway looks like a laugh aswell.
I drove a Citroen C8 for a few days the other week while the garage had my car for some work, it was so sh*t words cannot describe!!
Getting back into the Clio and putting my foot down was like being shot out of a f*cking cannon in comparison.
It's the smallest weep from the sump gasket, it hardly ever drips, the engine hardly ever needs topping up,
it's just residual oil on the sump and gear linkage.
If I wiped it all off and put a sump guard on it woudn't drip on anything.
I'd get it fixed now if I hadn't just spent £200 on a new...
Yeah I could do, it doesn't get through much oil or drip that much, so I could just clean it and cover it up.
Seeing as Shakespeare raceway is pay on the day, I might still go for a laugh.
Depends how poor I am at the time.
Not sure mate, i'm not sure my sump tank would pass scrutineering at the minute,
if they looked under my car they'd see nothing but wet oil all over the sump and gear linkage.
It's only a very slight leak, but every time the car get's up to temp what's on there runs. :dapprove:
I guess I could...
It looks fine apart from the gaiter, it stands out too much from the rest of the dash and looks a bit weird imo,
it'd be perfect if it was black, it'd blend in perfectly with the flocked dash then.
SantaPod don't give a sh*t as long as your car doesn't cross the line over 110mph. lol
How much is a helmet these days then?
Edit : This one's not that expensive.

Right well alot of the East Mids lot are pretty sound, if you join their regional group i'm sure someone close to you
would be up for letting you have a look at the standard setup,
some of them might have slightly modified airbox setups you get some ideas from aswell.
The bottom pipe would come in handy, otherwise the box is just taking in hot air rising off the block.
The side one can just be replaced with a length of ducting to the acoustic valve area,
but just don't attach it to the thing as it restricts the air flow a little to reduce noise.
Also if...
The good thing was he didn't really know that much about RS Clios,
like the difference between RS inlets and standard ones.
Some bargins could be had if you're cunning.
Although he was no fool, so i'd imagine he may have learnt a few things by now. lol
Might be worth becoming a member mate, JC5 boxes can be picked up for around £200quid in the for sale section,
my box went last year (non speedo) and I picked one up from a breakers in the West Midlands called Bridgenorth Renault.
At the time he had a few F4R engines and quite a few JC5s, he...
Will any of the products listed above make my plastics black again,
or is giving it a coat of satin black my best bet?
I'm talking about my grill, fog light plastics, bumper insert etc.
When you break it down, it's £3k for a 1.2 8v with 60bhp, it's never going to happen.
The body kit's probably worth more than the car tbh, be better off selling the kit separately,
putting the car back to standard then selling that.
Holy sh*t that makes mine look spotless!!!
At least my dog's not destructive, and on occasion I scrape all the dog hair and sh*te out when it's realy bad,
the thing is I know that if I hoovered and polished the inside of my car it woud be mint as nothing is damaged.
That CTRs interior was...
Just make sure you copy your existing files onto your hard drive,
there are also OEM files you can download for free off the FastChip website iirc,
just in case it a goes mental and you need to put it back to normal.
